Guide: How to manage your Wellness
One of the biggest challenges for new players is the management of the health by his character. Ideally, you should always your Wellness at 100 points. Why?

The advantage of having an high Wellness

The more your character has Health Points when he work, the more productive he will be for the employer. When you accept a job, the employer normally gives you a salary assuming you are working with 100 Health Points. If you work with a low Wellness, you are less productive. You will therefore be for him an overpaid and an unproductive employee. So you represent for him a loss for his company. It will therefore dismiss you or lower your salary substantially to conform it to your production. This may cause many inconveniences for you.

However, if you work with a high Wellness, you will keep your job. In addition, if you are an exemplary employee, possibly, you may receive a salary increase. 😉

The simplified profile of your character

How does your character lose Health Points?

There are three ways to lose Health Points in eRepublik: the daily loss, work and train and, finally, by fighting.

1)The daily loss.

Every day at 0:00, your character loses 4 life (if you do not have a house in your inventory). We can say that this loss is due to the fact that your character “breathes”.

2) Work and train.

In Re😛 work. In Blue: train.

You lose 1 Health Point for each level of the company of your employer has when you work. The same point applies lost when you make your daily military training. Therefore, the total loss is of 2 to 6 points daily, depending on the level of the company for which you work

So, each character automatically loses normally between 6-10 points per day. With the actual wages on the job market , it is easy for new player so far to maintain his Health Points to 100. However, you must be very careful with the next category of loss.

3) Fighting on the battlefield

Indeed, you must be very careful here, especially the new player. Each "hit" (=click on the button FIGHT) represents a loss of 10 HP! This is not something a new player can afford to do several times a day. It is therefore necessary for you to be careful because it will take a long time to regain a high Wellness.

In Re😛 The "EAT FOOD" button will become unavailable when black (more food in the inventory)
In Yellow: The Heath kit button
In Blue: The "FIGHT" button (= one hit)

Tip: Every day, consider whether you have enough CAD to fight. Currently, it costs about 6 CAD gain 10 HP by eating food. Prepare a budget for your daily fight, but always keep in reserve at least 6 CAD. Buy with this budget yours foods before going to fight. Then, once on the battlefield at each "hits"(FIGHT) you do, regain your lost life by clicking the button EAT FOOD. Do so, until the button becomes unavailable EAT FOOD. It's time for you to stop. Kill your opponent if you've already hit him. Finally, use the 6 DAC reserves to put your Wellness to 100 HP.

How to earn points of life
There are three ways for the new character to find its points of life: food, home and HEALTH KIT.

1) The food

Most eRepublik’s players use food to earn points. It is also the most accessible and most profitable way for new players to gain HP.
How it works? You will found on the marketplace, differents qualities of food. Each level of quality of food let you gain 2 HP. Thus,

Q1 = 2
Q2 = 4
Q3 = 6
Q4 = +8
Q5 = +10

So, buy on the market the number of foods you need each day to maintain a high Wellness. (A little tip, it is normally cheaper to buy rather 5 Q1 than a Q5. Look at the different offers before you buy. 😉)

Once you have buy your food, it ends up in your inventory. To use your food, you must click on the EAT FOOD button that is found under your life indicator. It is worth to note that your character will eat the food in the order they are placed in your inventory.

2) The house

Unless you find a bargain on the marketplace, investing in buying a home isn’t very profitable for the new player. Buying food is a better option. Because houses Q1 and Q2 have a short shelf life, purchasing them does not worth it. Q3 house or more can sometimes be useful to some players. But given their prices (more than 200 CAD), they are unaffordable for new players. The detailed analysis of advantages and disadvantages of home versus food will not be discussed in this guide.

3)The Heath kit

An other way to gain HP, but to never use. Very expensive (0.5 gold for 10 HP), this method is useful only for those who have reached the limit of 300 HP earned per day using foods. Useful for "tanks". A tank is a super soldier funded by the government, a militia or himself so he can by itself have a significant impact on the outcome of a battle.

That concludes this guide.
