Beste burgers der Nederlanden,
Deze keer wil ik met U spreken over onze alliantie. Of beter gezegd het gebrek aan een actieve, levende alliantie. Hydra is al een tijdje dood, en wij Nederlanders weten wel beter dan te blijven trekken aan een dood paard.
Zeker nu Asteria ook nog 's zo dood als een pier is. Trouwens, ik krijg best wel genoeg van die eeuwige Balkan oorlogen, die gebaseert zijn op eeuwenoude bloedvetes, die helemaal niets met dit spel te maken hebben.
En dan te bedenken dat er een prima alternatief is voor het morsdode Hydra, Pacifica genaamd. En aangezien we alweer een hele tijd op Polen vertrouwen, waarom dan niet bij hen in de alliantie? Waar ook oude vrienden als Ierland, Finland en Zweden deel van uitmaken.
Mocht U allen zo verstandig zijn mij tot Uw lands president te verkiezen, dan hoop ik U niet alleen een regering van nationale eenheid aan te beiden, maar ook een bindend referendum te houden over de keuze Hydra of Pacifica.
Dear citizens of the Netherlands,
This time I'd like to talk with you about our alliance. Or better said, about the lack of a living, vivid alliance. Hydra has been dead for some time now, and we Dutch know better then to keep pulling a dead horse.
Especially now that Asteria is also as dead as a door nail. By the way, I for one am fed up with these eternal Balkan wars, based on centuries old blood feuds that have nothing to do with this game.
And then to think that there's a perfect alternative for the stone-dead Hydra, namely Pacifica. Furthermore, we trust Poland now for quite some time, so why not join the alliance they're in? The alliance that includes old friends like Ireland, Finland and Sweden.
Should you all have the wisdom to elect me as your country's president, I hope not only to offer you a government of national unity, but also to hold a binding referendum on the choice of Hydra or Pacifica.
Of course there is more, but I'll leave that for another article.

Our lovely gov think only by extremes - for them you can be proAsteria or proCode, like middle and neutrality do not exists, pushing us into not our war for people who openly was against us, not only by talking by also by moves ( Hail Bulgaria ! ), forcing our citizens - who also are from many Code countries like Turkey or Croatia - to take a part of their unreasonable play and putting us in danger of wiping - and at the end NONE of gov members will fight for eNL cause all of them are empty.
Thats why I support Pieter and his idea of national referendum.
For me wisest move is to turn back into neutrality like we were 1,5 year ago in Orion, but this time to join a solid alliance of Pacifica. Poland is already our shield, we have a concession with them, so why not to strenghten it up into real Alliance ? Because of stubborn mind of a kid who is active 2! months per year, who dont even know that we tried to open Tw with Norway ( his words ) ?
You’re either attempting to hijack NL with lies, naive or blinded by personal problems with some people. Of course, getting a strong account did not change that and only made it worse. You were the one who wanted to join Hydra and impress the likes of big people such as goldenn, Ipsi, Pheo and Panda and felt Orion was useless; not playing the game. And I doubt this change of heart is due to lessons learnt but rather because you felt slighted by the same individuals.
And it was true and honest - I wanted eNL be on their side and what I get back ? closing concessions, closing tws, using me, my stock and whole country for Pandas personal gains and jokes on me, openly threathing me and eNL, laughing at me and offending me with vulgars from both Hydra and assteria. With such allies I dont need enemies.
On everything I wrote here i have logs and screenshots, so your try of presenting my words as lies just wont work out 🙂
When there are hard times and things don't go well lets run away?
If you are not happy with how the alliance works why not become more active and volunteer for duties to make the alliance better... and eventually have a saying in alliance-wide decisions?
Pacifica has been breaking into pieces for a very long time just the other day Russia left for code, it's not a solid alliance anymore.
To me, your statement strongly suggests you personally want to follow Poland and are looking for any reasons at all to justify it and make your proposal look better.
Why not join code, you could be on a winners side and enjoy many TW's? ...at least until admins decide it's time to change the tides and balance the game again... or turn off the servers, whichever comes first.
Of course, I don't have much saying in what Latvia does but I would not turn my back on friends and alliance members, I am ready to work together for a common goal not run away upon first dificulties and change sides for my personal gain...

I stopped become proassteria before bans and wars, when Bulgaria on purpose wiped Australia and stopped our concession with them. Not being proHydra was even much more longer, September 2020 so dont try to tell me I changed now when your side is loosing 🙂
Me and NL in general was always proPoland, its nothing new, we have YEARS of common good relations, dont act suprised.
Why not to join Code ? for the same reason ( besides being asholes ) why not proAsteria - We dont want to be part of Balkan war.
And for your information I became volunteer at June 2020 and became SC of Hydra for whole summer when Hydra died first time. I reactivate this alliance, make it alive again and what I get is ipsi and goldie coming back from dead just to throw me out for inviting Venezuela that was ready to work with us, because of stubborn minds of guys who lived in 2014 erepublik.
Final words are well known : "What you give is what you get back". And now Hydra and Assteria got exacly what they did before to others.

They’re all assholes. Whether its Asteria dicking around in Australia, or Code feeling the need to pummel small countries with bot network as during Resource Wars. Even Pacifica has its episodes of no regard except their own.
Throwing away Hydra is one thing, but comparing it to Pacifica which in fact has zero, nada, nil alliance value is ridiculous. No one really came to the aid of Russia being attacked, and Ireland is free to take for those who friendly ask. Hiding behind the Pacifica coat does nothing except lose respect and spine on all sides.
You rushed a barely hanging on country like Venezuela to Hydra that at that point had no place in it. The country that took no time to stab NL and allies in the back when the bans came. We can thank you though for it, as afterwards with the cleaning came Hydra that was at its most active and powerful (Hail end of 2020!).
I think mr. Animan answered his own question. If we were to "run away" for our own gain, we would be running to Code who seem to be the winning side now, not to Pacifica who has nothing to do with the Balkan wars either.

You were indeed CP of our country many times, and it ended in a trainwreck of bringing down both Eden and the eNetherlands and climaxed into you fleeing the country to Norway along with some of the treasury as a parting gift. In the meantime has shown no developing knowledge of game mechanics or the finer intricities of (international) politics. For the record; since there is no way you can publicize these brash ideas in the article if you had.

Neither with your birth date should you really know what Eden is, so it makes one wonder.
Here in GPN we tell each other what MdR has done for our country, and the fact that he was SC od Eden is part of that.

MdR is still in Norway, and although many people have asked him to return, he says he fine there, something with our national politics being a wasps-nest. You are spreading lies about one of eNL's greatest heroes. Shame on you.
You can pretend and act like that you are an entire different person but most people know you are the same person MdR/vS/Pieter etc. And 1 of greatest hero? You did nothing but bring destruction untill you fled NL to Norway.
The people will see through your lies and deceite. Why are you refusing to take part in our national discussion (a discussion which is really needed, and very much overdue), and seek your refuge in poisenous sounds? So much beneath a real CP.
Yes, Poland doesn't help and Pacifica has been spineless sometimes. Yet it is the only construction that was and is independent from the Asteria-Code conflict and with Russia leaving - new countries joining we inherit it and it is up to us what it will become. Neutrality is not spineless if it is taken seriously and not used as an excuse to flatter the stronger side.
Neutrality is only neutral when it can be enforced. When countries such as Russia, Sweden, Finland and Ireland can be freely attacked on request by both sides or without interference it is merely a neutrality coat until an attack actually comes. Poland isn't the only member of Pacifica after all.
But what the true definition of Pacifica is is not the point. The point is that feigning certain ''problems'' in Hydra that are overly apparent in Pacifica due to its unique characteristics is intellectualy lazy and deceitful.
I think neutrality is only the attitude to keep distance from both sides with emphasis on consciously withstand the attraction to the stronger side. It is independent from the ability to defend the country, as sometimes one of the two big alliances can't defend themselves either yet their affiliation still exist when they are wiped.
But I agree it's naive to think it's easy to make more life in Pacifica. Neutral people are usually disillusioned in their former alliances and it is more difficult to find common goals and motivation than in the framework of one of the big alliances. Questions must be approached and discussed tactful since there are no ready-made answers. Neutrality is interesting but it has no easy advantages it is simply someone wants it or ot.
