No matter how much you out damage the enemy in a mini-battle, after that 2 hour mini battle is over the damage amount resets again entirely. From now on, the smart fighter is one who uses his precious damage in the most efficient way possible, to insure his country wins as many mini-battles as possible. There is no prize for doing the most damage across the entire battle as a whole, the country who wins is the one who wins the most mini-battles.
