Democracy= representativeness + split powers

Day 3,747, 14:11 Published in United Kingdom USA by Alphabethis

After being enlightened by the Robert Michel's law, it's time to discover
that secret, yet apparently ubiquitious, social construct: democracy.

Democracy is not about voting. Democratic voting is an act for choosing a real representative, that is, one chosen by you, and not chosen by the Party Leader in a Party List. Whenever you are voting a list, you are not voting a rightful representative, but a fake.

The other part is split power. That means that judges are not chosen by the government or parliament. And that means that the parliament do not choose the government, or the government choose the parliament.

Not having judges is a great drawback, as several thieves running for CP have proven. So, let's remove another grasp of democracy in this game.

Even the election of the Country President is not democracy, it should be a two-round election, since spammicannies and other outliers, and the 'trustable' candidate have often hinder a second candidate to be a real option.

Here in e-republik, with such tiny populations, of around 200 active players, party lists are not so important, but yet they are spurious element , a poisoning one, for democracy.
