Congress, The Other White Meat.

Day 1,218, 12:29 Published in USA Canada by Thedillpickl

Hello, Nevada!

I'm new to these parts, originally from Missouri (in RL). Mighty fine state you have here. A bit hotter and sandier than I'm used to, but hey, in a game it's all good. Ooh look! I see mountains in the distance.

I've also moved to the United States Workers Party for this election cycle. They say it's the right thing to do. And when enough people, that you trust tell you to do something, you just do it. So if you're wondering why I'm not currently in the UIP, that's why.

My Congressional Platform

The enormity of it all is overwhelming, to say the least. The platform for my first term in Congress will be basic. Until I've actually been there and taken part in the 'fun' of running a country, it must be so. No great artist paints the "Mona Lisa" first time they pick up a brush.

Therefore, I will, to my best ability:

1) Take part in all forum and IRC discussions that Real Life will allow me to attend.
2) Use those discussions as a learning tool.
3) Only voice an opinion if I am certain I am correct.
4) VOTE!
5) Make my self available to everyone.

My Qualifications

> 1.5 x UIP Publications Secretary (I took over for Jason Stiltner when he stepped down.)
> Chief Editor, Graphics Artist and Writer for the "UIP Bulletin".
> Publisher of this, the "Pickle Barrel".
> General Manager of the "Gherkin Company", comprised of eleven various companies.
> Manager of several loyal employees who are venturing into eBusiness.

Thank you for considering me as your Representative in Congress. Any who know me, realize that I will speak my mind if I have an opinion but I also have ears to hear what others are saying. If I'm elected, I intend to put this ability to good use. Also, I would hope to be known as trustworthy and honest, two traits that I believe have followed me here from Real Life.

Remember, vote early, vote often!
(I apologize. I tried my best to write a completely serious article.)
