Quote of the day:
“It took the eIndos until June to gain the majority of the Senate, and until July to gain the position of Country President. Since that time, we have been slowly regaining congress seats and on the 5th of September, we managed to elect Hinokai to the position of Country President. Hinokai is the first eAustralian CP since Widdow9000 was elected in June. A small setback during September was the loss of the Australian National Party, eAustralia's largest party, to the PTO.” - eAus Department of Information

eRomania

Yesterday, eRomania secured the eHungarian region of Northern Great Plain. The battle, which was the largest mobilisation of EDEN and Phoenix troops this month saw over 3,000 soldiers fight in the confrontation. eRomania won the battle in overtime inflicting three times the damage per solider versus their counterparts.

eHungary immediately re-attacked the region following their loss. Their attack to reclaim the region is slated to wrap up at 23:00 eRep time today.

[Please note that this battle is very much active, though due to a bug in eRep it was not appearing in the wars list at the time of publication].

eUK and eSpain

Over the last two weeks the eUK has held off two resistance wars in its occupied region of Midi-Pyrenees in the South of France. The region which borders on the eUK’s long-time enemy eSpain is a strategic one for the eUK allowing them a front with the eNation.

eSpain, which has encouraged the resistance wars, in attempt to remove the eUK from their borders has decided after to the two resistance failures to take a more direct approach; attacking the region directly. The attack includes a number of active MPPs for both eNations (5 for the eUK and 7 for eSpain) thus the potential for a large battle on the scale of yesterdays in eHungary is likely.

The battle for Midi-Pyrenees will begin wrapping up at 14:00 eRep time today.

eUK and eIreland

With a battle waging between the eUK and eSpain in southern France, eIreland capitalised on the eUK’s situation yesterday, attacking its long sought region of Northern Ireland. While the eIrish attack is timed to be 4 hours later than the battle for Midi-Pyrenees, it should succeed in splitting the eUK’s (and Phoenix’s) attention slightly.

While the region of Northern Ireland is not nearly as strategically important to Phoenix as a region bordering eSpain, RL emotions in the long struggle between eIreland and the eUK over the region may distract British soldiers.

The battle for Northern Ireland will begin wrapping up at 19:00 eRep time today.

eBosnia and Herzegovina

Both of the two resistance wars eBosnia and Herzegovina (eBiH) started to reclaim their regions of West Srpska and Brcko District fell shot yesterday, with eSerbia retaining control of the two regions.

While yesterday’s attempts marked the third time eBiH has attempted to retake the regions, the eNation shows no signs of giving up on the task, in fact the growing momentum within the eNations press seems to indicate that support for continued attempts is more popular then ever.
