I was once an honored member of a great house. I was part of the retinue of a great master who demanded the respect of all.
His elevated position drew envious looks though, and others coveted what was his.
What he possessed though, none could hope to achieve, and his enemies despised him for this.

My master was killed by a lowly assassin sent in the dead of night, lacking honor and ending his life with a poisonous dart.
My brothers and I - Samurai all - were cast down and left without a master. I took it upon myself to avenge the death of my master, and gathered a few others to my cause.

The Assassin died by hanging with no honor, and my search turned to the true killer of my master.

In my quest to find the root cause of my former masters death, I made an unexpected discovery.
I could easily point a finger at any one of the rival Clan Leaders, but the true problem lies elsewhere.

His death was, in fact, a direct result of the type of society we created for ourselves. The enemy is the way we treat one another and live our daily lives.

My mission changed, as I realised that to fulfill my oath and avenge my former master, I must take service with a new master - our great nation of eJapan.

By serving the nation, I can stand against the destructive actions. I can be a voice in the silence defending the rights of those too weak to fight for themselves.

My voice, and the voices of my brothers will be heard by those in power, and as we raise in volume and in multitude, those in power cannot help but take heed of what we say, for we are the voice of the people.

I write this message today urging all like-minded individuals to come join me. Ride with me under the banner of equality and fairness.

I am the voice of the innocents slaughtered.
I am the voice of the workers treated unfairly.
I am the voice of the silent majority.

I am the voice of equality.
I am the voice of righteousness.
I am the voice of honor.

I am the voice of the Ronin.
