All Change

Day 660, 08:16 Published in Ireland Ireland by einberliner

Well since the last edition of this paper, six days ago now, a lot of things have changed in the Donut house. The presidential election on the 5th brought Patton into power and, to my genuine surprise, brought me an invitation to take up the role of Minister of Community. After a brief hesitation - I was a little worried I didn't know enough to take the role - I accepted and, touch wood, I don't regret that in the least. We have a fantastic cabinet, one I'm very proud to be serving on.

I won't go into what's happening over in the Ministry, I have its own paper for that (though for the curious, you can find out here: http://www.erepublik.com/en/newspaper/the-irish-community-189477/1) but I'm proud of what I've managed to get done so far and very excited to get going on the rest of what's been planned.

My personal interest in the noobies is as strong as ever, though I'll be (as a lone citizen) taking a less active role there for the remainder of the month, instead acting in a more official capacity as Minister and working with Edana Savage (Minister for New Citizens) and Cun-Bo-Dawex (Minister for Education) on joint projects while we're all in office.

As a result the Learning Curve may be much quieter for the time being, though I intend to check in now and then with observations/accounts of experiences through my time as MoCommunity as a TD for the Southeast of Ireland.

If you want to stay informed of what I'm up to in the meanwhile please subscribe to The Irish Community newspaper (linked above) . It's also the best way to see what community projects and competitions are going on, plus see what's coming in the days and weeks ahead.

With love,
