Day 3,214, 21:35 Published in USA USA by Hadrian X

The competition comes to a conclusion with a few XLYMPIANS deserving special recognition.

The XLYMPIC AWARD WINNERS (part 2 of 2)

John Killah’s “Power Pole” XLYMPIC Grand Jury Prize
John Killah’s PPGJP will be awarded to the XLYMPIC competitor deemed the most deserving based on their performance during the entirety of the games as voted on by the event judges.

The winner is:  Tensibo

The GZA Noob Buster XLYMPIC Championship Belt

The GZANBCB will be awarded to the competitor who earns the most medal points during the XLYMPIC games.

The winner is:  Tensibo

Hadrian X:  What does it mean to you to win a grand slam of XLYMPIC medals, John Killah’s “Power Pole” XLYMPIC Grand Jury Prize and the GZA Noob Buster XLYMPIC Championship Belt?

Tenshibo:  Honestly it's pretty cool. I was up against some of the best, most creative persons in this game; Cerb, Israel, Paul... it just goes on and on. And to be above them all in these contests? Yo that's awesome. Like, not unexpected - I'm Tenshibo, but like, still pretty awesome.

HX:  What do you attribute your XLYMPIC excellence to?

Ten:  Hennessy and Kanye. Not necessarily in that order but certainly a combination of the two. Like, just imagine ABC soup, but like, the broth is Henney and the letters just always spell out Kanye. It's like Rocky eating raw eggs but way more baller. It's like Michael Jordan's "secret stuff" from Space Jam but it's not in you from the beginning, gotta buy it form 20$ a pint. It's like the Eucharist but less blood and more redbull. That's all i got for metaphors right now.

HX:  Because Wheaties taste like crap, what cereal box would you like your picture on to celebrate your XLYMPIC domination and why?

Ten:  Fruit Loops. No milk either, fuck that soggy ass sh*t. I just eat them dry and drink some milk.

HX:  When I approached you about doing a 10CATHLON event for the XLYMPICS what did you think and did the final event come close to what you thought it would be like?

Ten:  Honestly I didn't realize it was part of some big competition. I thought it was just something you were doing in honor of how awesome I was you know. Like, thought you came back and thought to yourself, "yo that Tenshibo dude? He's one inspirational dude. I'm make a contest about how great he is!" So when you approached me I was like "Ch'yeah I'm down. There needs to be more things about me!" And then it ended up being part of some big thing, like, something bigger and almost better than me, and I was like yo... okay. this is cool. The final event ended up being better than I expected. So many people try and to something fun like this and it falters, but you - and i do mean you dude - you made this shit baller and awesome. Truly best thing that's happened here in years.

HX:  Whose 10CATHLON submission surprised you most (in a good way)?

Ten:  Tendou's from SFP. He dropped Dat $tick which I added to my life-playlist on spotify like 6 months back or some shit and forgot about, but when the beat came on i was like YOOOOOOOO. NO. WAY.

HX:  What were your favorite 10CATHLON submissions?

Ten:  Best song was by Cerb. He dropped "Vava Voom" by Bassnectar featuring Lupe Fiasco. It's such an old song now dude. I couldn't believe someone dropped it. I've seen Nectar play live three times now, and he played it the first time I saw him and like... song just took me back to some good times, you know?
Best picture was from YaboiDmoney. It's Lil Wayne and Birdman on the Notebook cover. Classic.
Best video was definetely Paul Proteus. It was "The Quan" scene from Kendrick Lamar's music video for "These Walls". KDot and Terry Crews doing The Quan and it's just too much. Killed me.

HX:  What has your overall XLYMPIC experience been like?

Ten:  Great. It really was the best thing to happen in years man. I wish it would keep going, or there was another one, but this was special, once in a long-while type thing. You know?

HX:  If you could pick any song, what song do you think should be the official XLYMPIC anthem?

Ten:

HX:  Lastly, any final thoughts on the XLYMPICS as the games come to a close?

Ten:  TIME FOR MY SHOUTOUTS!!!!!!!Yo, shout out to everybody that worked on the album, you feel me, son?

Tenshibo presents the “Golden Yeezy”
The Golden Yeezy will be awarded to the competitor deemed most worthy by Tenshibo for their impressive swag display during the XLYMPIC games.

The winner is:  Cerb

Hadrian X:  What does it mean to you to win a hat trick of XLYMPIC medals, leading the SFP to the top of the medal rankings and winning the XLYMPIC Tenshibo presents the “Golden Yeezy” award.

Cerb:  I actually have a lot of faith in the creative genius of the community, and I think if more people participated, I may have won less medals. Regardless, participation was high considering how small the community is now, so of course Future President Hadrian X is to be commended for coordinating a multi-stage, round-the-clock event.

HX:  What has your overall XLYMPIC experience been like?

Cerb:  I immensely enjoyed watching eReppers serve up some exceptional poetry dishes.

HX:  How important was it to win a medal for each of your three heads?  Would a fourth have been overkill? Would two have made one jealous?

Cerb:  It was simply fate. 3 is my number.

HX:  Even though you didn’t win the gold in the 10CATHLON, Tenshibo has singled you out with the “Golden Yeezy”.  What do you attribute your massive swag to?

Cerb:  I put in effort where and when it is needed, but I think I stop short of being a try-hard.

HX:  Was there any one competitor, in any of your events, who you really wanted to beat (and did)?  What would you like to say to them, holding your three XLYMPIC medals and waving the “Golden Yeezy” in their stupid little face?

Cerb:  I did expect to win Debate This, and I did.

HX:  In addition to yourself, your SFP teammates Ya Boi D Money and Franklin Stone both won medals.  Who would you rather be stuck on a farm commune with and why?

Cerb:  I'd rather farm alone. Animals have pretty amusing personalities!

HX:  If you could pick any song, what song do you think should be the official XLYMPIC anthem?

Cerb:

HX:  Now that you’ve completed your eLifelong goal of XLYMPIC gold… Cerb4POTUS?

Cerb:  Hadrian4POTUS  (note: strikethroughs added by editor)

HX:  Lastly, any final thoughts on the XLYMPICS as the games come to a close?

Cerb:  Tenshibo is really pretty phenomenal when he drops the too-cool-4-school act and writes lyrics or formulates analysis.  The real medalist is Hadrian X for winning the Community Engagement event.

The Tyler Bubblar “Shake -N- Bake” Tag Team Trophy
The Tyler Bubblar SNBTTT will be given away to the delegation that fields the largest XLYMPIC contingent.  The prize money ($25,000 cc) will be paid out to one of their members, as selected by a vote of all competitors within the winning delegation.

The winner is:  [EZC] Gnilraps & Comet Academy (tied)

Hadrian X:  When I first asked you to participate in the XYLMPICS what were your first thoughts about it and did the final results match your expectations?

Gnilraps:  My expectations were actually quite high because I've seen your work in the past. Somehow you managed to exceed them. Great work, really.

HX:  Since you just thrust your taters deep into the meat curtains of the DESIGN MY AVATAR event competition, winning the gold medal, do you have any words of encouragement to the avatar-ially challenged out there?

Gnil:  I'd be speaking to myself. I am NOT an Avatar designer. I know how to photoshop. That's it. What I lack is artistic vision. So I do not have any words of encouragement to the avatarially challenged. I have words of discouragement. Don't bother even trying. Leave avatar design up to the professionals or else you'll end up with crap like what I won with. I am so lucky none of our EZC avatar designers entered or we would have all been doomed.

HX:  You were not only a competitor, in events you weren’t competing in, you were also a judge.  As a judge, whose XLYMPIC submissions surprised you most (in a good way)?

Gnil:  Tenshibo's poem was a downright masterpiece. I am saying this as a nearly 50 year old white male who never listened to a single rap song in his life except for that one time at the carnival when I was in high school and some dude was rapping about his "Diddly Diddly Deed". That was cool, actually. But Tenshibo's was better. Sign him.

You did qualify "(in a good way)", so that is going to limit my commentary to just those few words.

HX:  The EZC motto “CURAHEE!” means “stand alone”.  You won the XLYMPICS Tyler Bubblar “Shake –N- Bake” Tag Team trophy (tied with Comet Academy), as voted on by your fellow EZC competitors, so you kind of stand alone (with Comet Academy) amongst your team.  What would you say to them as you receive (your half of) the $25,000 cc prize money?

Gnil:  It's all coming back to you. Every penny.

HX:  If you could pick any song, what song do you think should be the official XLYMPIC anthem?

Gnil:

HX:  Lastly, any final thoughts on the XLYMPICS as the games come to a close?

Gnil:  Thank you for proving to eUSA that there's life left in this game if only someone strikes out boldly to find it. Anyone who wants to become "someone" in eRep should study your work and adapt it to himself. There's more than one empty seat in the leadership train of eUSA. Fill one.

Hadrian X:  What has your overall XLYMPIC experience been like?

Comet Academy: For tl;dr people, it was EXTREME. I've played this game with this account for 10 months in eUSA, and I was in eSouth Korea last year with my previous account. So... I have almost one and a half year of playing time. In that period, I've never seen an event like the XLYMPICS! Huge, Mighty, National, Festive, and Swaggy of course! All the active and even inactive citizens of eUSA participated in the event, and they really enjoyed it with others. The most impressive thing was that all the newbies and old players were combined together in XLYMPIC. I am very proud of that.

The XLYMPIC was historical event, and I think there won't be another one which can be compared to the XLYMPICS except the XLYMPICS!

HX: What are you most proud of with your XLYMPIC performance?

Comet:  In fact, as I said in the comment of X-Files, I was not interested in hip hop music before. In South Korea, a program called "Show Me The Money" has brought hip hop boom. All of my friends like hip hop but I was different, I loved classical music, and rock. Green Day and Muse. (I love them now of course..) However, to find a swaggy song for 10CATHLON, I searched some hip hop song in Youtube. And they were amazing! Especially my two entry songs, Purple Lamborghini (https://youtu.be/ZkqyIoYAXV8) and Bugatti (https://youtu.be/djE-BLrdDDc) were so great that I put those two ones in my phone. There is a big meaning because I didn't have any hip hop music in my phone music list.

XLYMPICS and 10CATHLON made me learn about a new, big genre of music. Now I love hip hop too!

HX: The EZC motto “CURAHEE!” means “stand alone”. You won the XLYMPICS Tyler Bubblar “Shake –N- Bake” Tag Team trophy (tied with Gnilraps), as voted on by your fellow EZC competitors, so you kind of stand alone (with Gnilraps) amongst your team. What would you say to them as you receive (your half) of the $25,000 cc prize money?

Comet:  First of all, I want to say thank you to my EZC friends. I actually tried hard to make a great competition. And I know my friends made some enormous efforts on their events. I will think this prize is a gift and also a kick for me. I will fight hard to enhance our MU’s prestige. Also, I will help my friends in EZC, so they can enjoy our good community. I am now supporting some new friends with my own money, and the prize money will help me continuing that. EZC is the largest part of my erepublik playing, and I am sure it will be in the future too. CURRAHEE!

HX: Now that your swag has been officially verified, where do you stand on the East coast vs. West coast hip hop feud? 2Pac or Biggie?

Comet:  I’ve never listened to their music in the past. I searched Youtube again and found some songs. I am not good at hearing the lyrics, so I chose 2Pac for his good beats and rhythms. Their songs are quite calm (and I just found that their lyrics are not...), but I think 2Pac is good at using the beat to highlight his rap. And I love some piano sounds inside his songs. I think I should listen those hip hop legends’ music more...

HX: If you could pick any song, what song do you think should be the official XLYMPIC anthem?

Comet:

HX: Lastly, any final thoughts on the XLYMPICS as the games come to a close?

Comet:  I like using a word “love” in my sentences. The word “love” contains a lot of positive meanings, and it is the best way to represent people and things who and which I “love”. I love music. I wanted to be a pianist until I gave up with tear-stained face when I was 15 years old. But still I love music. XLYMPIC gave me a gift box called hip hop, and it has a huge meaning to me. I think it will even change my life, considering the large part where music owes in my heart. Thank you.

I hope we can enjoy it again in the future. I loved the XLYMPICS!
