[UK CP] - Thank you and opening remarks for the term

Day 4,856, 09:06 Published in United Kingdom United Kingdom by 10 Downing Street

Thoughts and well wishes for Jiminy

Before I get into my opening remarks for the term. I want to start with sharing my thoughts about Jiminy. The last messages I received from Jiminy was on the 21st February which informed myself, Frix and Athena, that real life was pulling him away and he was going to be offline for a day.

As his 2nd term ends, its hard not to once again think about him. It's concerning that he left in the way he did, I don't think anyone in Erep would blame him putting life first. However it's hard to imagine he'd just "go" without announcing or discussing his departure from Erep based on his personality and the strength of his account.

I don't know if you'll read this however I think I speak for all of the UK and wider Erep community when I say We miss you Jiminy, Hope all is well and thanks for the great two terms. We hope to see you online here again soon o7.

Introduction

Thank you to all who voted on the 5th and especially those who voted for me. As always it's an honour to represent you. I'll work hard for you and for the interest of the UK

I'm very glad Frix and Athena have agreed to stay on and help me out this term. If anyone else would like get involved. Send me a message.

Minister of Education - Athena.

Player Support and Financial Affairs

Supporting our player base remains vital.

There should be a steady flow of provision of weapons, food, Training Ground Grants, Q1 Housing grants .etc. I will try and establish some more of these player support schemes. These should be a balance between citizen and country needs at the time.

Pilot Rewards

The only way to become a better pilot is to fight in the air and increase your air rank, so we continue paying out 3cc per air kill with the following limitations:

• To help focus our damage, air kills in battles we intend to lose may only count half
• There will be a cap of 5,000 kills (15,0000 cc) per week for each individual
• Only eUK citizens of level 20 or higher are eligible
• You must do at least 100 kills for the week to qualify

The scheme will start at day change tonight to coincide with the Weekly Rewards, and an article will be published each Tuesday following showing the rewards each pilot has earned. Any pilot who comments on that article will be sent their reward.

Junior Ace Pilot Program

We will continue to support up-and-coming pilots trying to reach those heights without quite having the damage to collect their share of the Sky Hero gold?

To help encourage these pilots, Minister of Education Athena. has volunteered to run a secondary air program focusing on rewarding the best of our next wave of pilots. The details of this program are:

• Only eUK citizens with an air rank at or below Chief Master Sergeant ***** and a ground strength below 150k will be eligible
• Eligible pilots will be ranked based on air kills each week with the top ten receiving rewards as follows:

1st Place: 10 gold, 2,000 cc
2nd Place: 5 gold, 2,000 cc
3rd-5th Place: 2,000 cc
6th-10th Place: 1,000 cc

Income

Our resource concessions deal with Spain will continue to provide the eUK income from conceding our iron and fish for a proportion of Spain's GDP.

Our monetary market activity will also continue to generate extra revenue from our taxable income.

We'll do our utmost to keep our important regions for producers productive and our tax revenue from our training war partners will continue to be returned.

Foreign Affairs, and Defence

Training War reminder

Ireland
No major update from the latest MoFA article . Discussions continue and hopefully a resolution will be found soon.

Rest of the Word
I'm under the impression of keeping our neutrality is the best for the time being for the United Kingdom and we will maintain our existing arrangements and agreements. However we have somewhat been isolated in our diplomacy recently so maybe this is the term we just get out there and talk more about the UK, learn more about other nations and make some more friends.

Thanks for reading

I probably could have covered more, so please do ask me any questions you may have of your Government and I will try and address them.

Country President of the United Kingdom
