Its true. Woldy is a closet communist. As such, I am pleased to announce the second coming of chr- ... The British Gifting Hub. Codenamed project inb4johnobrow, we are tasked with pro-actively seeking people who need gifting, and gifting them, as well as our old task, or sitting here, munching on stale bread waiting for messages.
In Woldy's Britain, gifting seeks you!.
As we are now searching high and low for every last poor soul under 40, the costs incurred have increased dramatically. So much so, that Woldy is now having to work extra shifts down at the 'offie just so these delightful young fellows can fight for wellness.
As such, I write to you with a simple message. Directly, indirectly or spiritually, we are all connected to the British Gifting Hub. We all want new players to survive, or at least, should. A lot of us own companies, and some of us have suffered the stagnant boredom of self-funding yourself from near death to the magical 40 (or was that just me?)
It is with this in mind, that I come to you, cap in hand, on my knees, begging for your contributions. The costs incurred by gifting have risen five-fold since last term, and the amount of people we're gifting by an even greater margin. This is partly due to our PM'ing campaign, and partly due to a greater awareness of the hub.
Company Owners - take advantage of the gifting hub, we will PM, educate, gift and nurture your workers, and thus increase your profits. Military officers, we offer the same to new/over enthusiastic soldiers. We gift everyone's future friends. Newer players: perhaps we have gifted you.
What I am basically saying: what we do impacts on all of us. If you have extra GBP, extra GOLD, any currencies will help. In the short term, currencies can buy the gifts we use to keep our nation healthy. In the long term, GOLD and big donations can lead to us having our own gift company; and thus sustaining ourselves.

I have been donating food and gifts to people under 40 for ages!
So forgive me if i don't donate anything. I will just carry on helping people myself, three people today infact!

i agree with John Thunscorpe. while im only new it seems illogical to track down new players as some will survive just fine and those that dont find you arnt serious enough to continue anyway. Maybe spend the money on more advertising to allow people to know your there if needed.
ps. i have used the gifting hub before, but i had to track it down.

Well John, some new players make mistakes. Some are tricked into working in companies started by out-of-country players, making high quality stuff for the same amount of money, effectively destroying their wellness.
There are other reasons it happens, but what you need to understand is that some new players get caught in these schemes. If you don't help them, then you end up losing the player, and that's certainly something Britain doesn't need. By helping players who have made mistakes, we increase our population.
This helps our economy, as well as our military.

I'm of the firm opinion that the dialogue and contact between new and young players here is actually far more important than the actual gift itself.
Players contacted in those oh-so boring first weeks are far more likely to have a reason to stick around. This game is shit remember? Its all about the people.
I agree with zumbum, don't get me wrong,i appreciate what you are doing with the gifting and i think you should carry on! I just think it is also very important to support new players with advice too, there is alot going on in this game and it can be daunting (atleast it is for me anyway!)
Seriously, good on you for putting this scheme together to help new players though. I'm sure it will be very much appreciated.

The Gifting Hub has helped me recently (stupid me! Hit the "Fight Again" button once too many times!) so I have donated £5. Not much, I admit, but thanks so much to you guys! Keep up the great work.

I've been help though gifts before so i've donated 3GBP and a gift that i brought when i was newb without knowing what it did.
i have not been helped yet and i agree with zumbum but this is also a great i idea i put all i had at the moment (don't worry i still have the food to stay alive for me to recieve more money from work) yeah so good luck with it and go low levels we are the best and i will be getting a welcome basket (hopefully) for living in the south-east so i'll be okay im just really confused and can't wait till level 5 i shall help support my country
