[TWO] The World's New Army

Dear citizens of the eWorld,

Hello and welcome to yet another article brought to you by the SoFA team of TWO HQ!
We have got something really cool to announce: the opening of TWO’s Official Army!

We have been working since the beginning of the alliance in this project, and it has finally come to an end. I must admit all TWO countries have been working quite hard too for it be carried out successfully.

Although the project came to an end and bases are now established, the whole things just started! It is the now the time for you to get involved! Well, we want incredible people to participate, so maybe is you who we are looking for!

TMC (TWO Mobile Corps) will be its name. Why? Cause we are always moving! We are always a step forward from our enemies!

1,- So, what do you need to be part of TMC (TWO Mobile Corps) if you want to become a member?

Members:

- must be in division 4
- must do at least 30,000 damage with a single hit with Q7 weapons
- must be a citizen of a TWO or ACT nation
- must have a history of fighting for TWO
- must be willing to move around in order to fight
- must be active in-game, although IRC activity is also recommended
- must use Pulse and it must be activated when fighting.

Members who do not have TWO citizenship must be vouched by a government or by HQ

What are you waiting for?

It would be the perfect opportunity for you to meet players from other TWO and ACT countries and fight side by side with them. The organisation will be a very important aspect, and do not worry because that is something we have taken into consideration.

2.- How will it work?

Supplies will be distributed on IRC if and when people are required. All IRC active members of the Mobile Corps will be required to idle there during the day if they can. When they are required for battle, they will post their number of food fights and will be given supplies accordingly.
For those that are not as IRC active, there will be an in-game message that will be regularly updated by the commanders of TWO Mobile Corps.

The Supreme Commander will:

a) Display what the current orders are
b) Give TWO MC members the ability to post their food fights
c) Allow them to join IRC at the appropriate time to allow for more streamlined damage coordination.

Once handed weapons, you will be expected to fight. We track damage through eGov4you and the pulse application for Chrome and Firefox. Nevertheless, bear in mind that if you do not fight, you will be removed from the unit and restricted from partaking in future unit activities!

3.- How to join?

Information will be handed out to national governments. For faster replies, it is recommended to contact any member of TWO HQ so you can be added to the membership list. We will give you a form you will have to fill.

4.- Where will the army be located?

It is a surprise! We will let the location of the army to be known the 5th of May.
We will also have some cool graphics prepared by that day. Stay tuned!




Today we are trying something a little bit different (with enough cooperation from the CPs of TWO!). Betafoxtrot will be in charge from now on to bring us interviews from within the dug-out from personalities in TWO.

After the UK truly took over HQ this month, it's fitting that the first interview should be from Jimbojoy, the current CP of the United Kingdom, a country who thanks to Poland is back on the month after a brief hiatus from the World Map.

In other news I've made some new dividers for TWO articles so if you want to comment on how good or bad they are then please feel free to do so! As ever, Mininuns' analysis of some of the recent events will follow after. So without further to do, let's begin 😃



1. What do you think the UK adds to the alliance that no other countries does?

The eUK (and we prefer that title!) brings the best in leadership, that no other country can claim to have ever come close to. This may be because we are the natural English speakers (and unlike the Americans not just out for ourselves :3) and have a level of fluency and subtly that can win others to our cause and command respect. We've provided leaders to this block of the Alliance from Phoenix through PEACE GC to the crazy changes to ONE and now to TWO. eUKers have been there the whole way helping out where we can. We'll always be the nation that can provide a hero for our allies to rally to. All the other nations have some great guys, don't get me wrong, but none consistently prepare and provide as we do.

2. The UK was recently wiped by a combined force of Ireland and Argentina before Poland intervened to help. How useful do you think the UK is to TWO?

We are perhaps the most tactically placed country within the Alliance, as the "crossroad" nation. It's always been a danger to be surrounded mostly by our enemies, and that danger is often realised through attack and war, but we are in the right geographical locality to throw the useful off NE to block and annoy/drain for TWO in the right place. We also are great at making peace after a reasonable time, so never have boring wars forever with one nation (Ireland feature regularly, but never as bad as Permabalkanwar), which means we can often fight for our allies. We have a few older tanks to help fight in D4 and many are active movers, so TWOKeepers is still alive there 😛

3. Given that TWO may invade America some day, what are your thoughts on America joining CoT?

I love some Americans. Attending President Arundel's inauguration with King Woldy was the funnest thing since forever. I like Vanek, and several guys who supplied me when I was in the European arm of ultramarines way back in TERRA(ble). I'd say we have a healthy individual respect between players. The problem is, when you sit them down as a nation they will only do what self-interest dictates, rather than sacrificing for allies. I think time will tell as they move into CoT, but I feel sorry for their new "Allies". I really love Chile/Brazil/Mexico, and I hope we at least can have cordial relations, and make life difficult for HQ by maintaining NAPs where possible. xD


4. TWO as an alliance is the successor to the alliance ONE. What do you think the future of TWO will be?

It's simple, The World is Ours.

5. TWO HQ this month have decided to retry an alliance MU, how much of the UK aware of this and do you think it's a good idea?

I love the idea, conjures up images of PEACEKEEPERS and the like (Keers will hate me, but ideals are all we have left, with our eloquence and nostalgia.) The eUK have financially contributed, so we'll obviously expect a return on our investment, but it is clearly mutually beneficial so we'll support and help this project to grow.


6. With Belgium moving towards TWO, what other countries do you think have the potential to join?

I think the elephants in the room are Romania and Greece. Look for the eUK congress to debate this long and hard. Also, Belgium would likely be moving towards ACT, but it will be nice to have them around 🙂

Our Hungarian brothers have been trying to let Ukraine without congress. They were near, but they finally could not. Do not worry, because we can always try next month!

Because of some problems with eBelarus, they right now do not own a deer region. I am sure they will soon solve this little problem out, as the current government has been considering multiple options in order to do so.

Hungary is right now being bombed with some propaganda. Its effects are almost zero, as in almost all cases, foreign powers are the ones behind these.

There is no need to say we are proud of Hungary, as they have several times demonstrated their commitment with our alliance in joint campaigns with, for example, Poland.

The situation in Spain changed drastically.

They lost their territories in Argentina, together with territories in Venezuela, Portugal and Canada. TWO has been always there to help Spain, but we expect efforts regarding organizational level to be made for their future!

Their treaty with Portugal was broken, and so Portugal is now being attacked. Nevertheless, Spain managed to leave Canada without congress!

Canada is still suffering the consequences of their attack some time ago to the United Kingdom. What can we get out of this? Just, do not mess up with TWO!

Spain’s CP suffered an impeach, but although there were more positive votes than negatives, because of the 66% law it was rejected.

We wish Spain best of luck for the remainder of the legislature! We hope they can at least get Guayana back.

Poland did something incredible.

As the United Kingdom needed help against Argentina and Ireland, Poland abandoned Turkey and managed to attack Argentina throughout the French region of Brittany.

With the help of TWO and constantly damage-drains in the eUnited Kingdom via Resistance Wars, Argentina was finally expelled. It was a gorgeous, worth admiring show, which we have had the opportunity to experience. It is not the first time a TWO country saves the eUnited Kingdom, and as we said in one of our articles, the United Kingdom will never be alone!

As just indicated, it is not the first time a TWO country contributes in the recuperation of the UK's welfare not so long ago. There has been two countries which have recently participated in such event: Spain and Poland.

It somehow has been a coincidence that both countries have been involved in two different direct campaigns in order to help the eUK, and this just teaches us again that Spoland still stands, even when it comes to thoughts, as it has been demonstrated Spoland did not even think twice when helping the eUK; an ally.

In regards to France, a new peace treaty has been signed with Poland, the UK and Serbia, being this the reason why France NEed Poland. Poland will get the region of North Calais and Brittany will soon be released.



The United Kingdom, as explained, expelled Argentina with some help. The UK is now at war with Ireland, a country which decided to take advantage from the situation when Argentina launched the AS.

Ireland is right now suffering the consequences of their acts. However, will Ireland be up to make relations with the eUK closer again? Although it is a now hard to believe, some time ago Ireland and the UK were building a kind of relationship based on peace and friendship, but one CP who was elected in Ireland suddenly changed this.

In spite of the current situation, friendship between some players in these two countries still remain, so we will see!

With the exception of some Resistance Wars, things are quite calmed in Serbia. Due to the approval of the USA in CoT, Serbia and other countries have been forced to take some actions. It is nothing new the USA has an anti-TWO stance, but it seems it does not care for those in CoT.

As usual, Serbia has 10/10 of bonus. Furthermore, they left Israel without congress, together with Albania. Great!

Slovenia is immersed in a kind of peace bubble (we consider Italy not to be a serious problem). They are willing to help TWO, as always.

Associate Countries of TWO (ACT)













As usual, all our ACT (and TWO) members got congress.

Estonia left its endless war with Finland and Latvia proposed an Airstrike to Austria! As Lithuania is in charge of Sweden, they do not have nothing to worry about.

The moment Latvia was waiting for to have fun has finally arrived!

Venezuela because of external help conquered Guayana, whose RW was started by the Spanish government. Moreover, they have signed a simple NAP with Colombia. It consists of letting Colombia to have congress and not to go on war for a week. Once this short period of time passes, they will decide what to do!

Our Asian brothers, Thailand, have still got Malaysia under control! Montenegro remains in Malaysia too without problems. They both have contributed to the disappearance of Malaysia's congress. Good job!

Slovakia is now being attacked by the Czech Republic, so let's see how the situation evolves.
