This article was published 3 days ago in Spain and I decided to publish it due to the high interest some non-spanish friends had in reading it.
I've done my best to keep the text as close as possible to the original, but as with any other translation, some idiomatic peculiarities may be lost during the process, slighty (in the best case) changing the meaning of some sentences. You are warned.
I said I'd keep you up with latest news, and so I'm doing right now:
I'm sad to anounce that, after the leak of the logs from a ONE meeting (Logs here), the stablishment of the new alliance has been frozen.
That's it, there won't be a new alliance. This is caused by the fact that, after the fuss aroused by that leak, BrUsa decided not to carry on with the project.
Although the day it all happened we all agreed on that these events wouldn't affect our plans of building up the new alliance, it finally has been cancelled.
Nearly everything was ready, but as BrUsa required additional guarantees from Poland, things changed.
What happened so we have reached such a point? Easy. The leaking of the logs revealed the intentions ONE HQ had, where Poland got involved.
That leak was made by Cookies Revenge, a serbian member of ONE's High Commanders. Maybe that was an unwanted leak, where he "mistakenly" gave the logs to biggest game anti-ONE troll...
On the other hand, others state he deliberately leaked the logs to boycott the impending formation of the new alliance.
The logs show Poland being in favor with the HQ initiative (position they subsequently changed when the project set off, as the logs are quite old).
A clear example that proves they changed their position regarding the initial HQ's plans is the polish goverment assured us they'd officially leave ONE within one week (and so we would do along with them). This was just a few days ago.
The initial ONE's HQ plan was to wait the new alliance was created, and then, the unavoidables clashes between Brazilians and Romanians and between Poles and Croats would spark off hostilities between EDEN and the new alliance benefiting both ONE and the new alliance, but allowing Spain and Poland moving the war axis to the West after years of futile fights in the Balkans, and thus fully devote to the new alliance, without any hindrance to ONE.
Afterwards, ONE's HQ (made up of serbs and hungarians) tried to strengthen Serbia and Hungary by taking advantage of the new alliance, trying to make Brasil and USA pro-SerbHungarian countries, even when that supposed sacrificing countries such as Macedonia or Indonesia.
Their plot backfired.
ONE's plot ended up disolving their own alliance to build up a new alliance composed by Serbia, Hungary, Polland, Spain, Brazil and USA, so they got more damage in the Balkans, as can be clearly seen in logs from ONE Supreme Commander:

When the plan failed, and the idea of creating an independent alliance made its progress, the logs magically got published, ruining the new alliance idea.
I want to make it quite clear that Spain has been at all times committed to building the new alliance, as we made it clear at ONE meetings. We have made everything in our power for the progress of the new alliance.
What are we going to do now? We'll still be a member of ONE, that's clear. At the momment ONE is a divided alliance and the HQ will try to accuse us of being the father of all evil, and we'll be (if ONE leadership doesn't change) even more ignored (if possible), together with Macedonia and Indonesia, countries pointed at as the "culprits" of leaking the logs for no apparent reason.
The creation of the new alliance would have meant a complete shift to the game as we know it. Members would also greatly benefit due to the fact it would have been a neutral alliance and appart from keeping their current MPPs they wouldn't have been affected by the "Balkan affairs". They would carry on with their never-ending wars and whatever happened there would no longer be of a key matter for us. Besides, we had plans to achieve 100% bonuses.
That's the reason why the Balkans tried to prevent it, distorting the facts as only them know how to do it.
But not all that turned out from this has been harmful: BroUsa is annoyed by the attitude Poland had at a start, but not with Spain. We have remained faithful to our words. That's why we have considerably improved our relationship with them. To such a degree that USA goverment proposed their congress to sign a MPP with Spain.
In any case, NAPs with Brazil and USA have been ensured by both goverments.
From the Ministry of Foreign affairs, we'd like to thank all the hard work invested by USA as well as Brazil, and for the sacrifices they were willing to face.

ofc Spain is eager to form a new alliance "away" from balkan , particularly with USA and Brazil, to secure that side of the border from constant ra*ing, they were also very eager in the past to grant passage toward USA to Serbia and Hungary... also they are eager not to piss of ONE with this "new" alliance...

ONE is often tanking more then EDEN, and + now there are division, so one guy cant win every one of them, I think even country small and new as Albania would destroy Spain 1vs1...
Romper aside, your "argument" proves what ? that Spain doesnt change sides or trys to change sides every few months ? I think not
One's objective was achieved. They have widened the gap between Bra/USA and EDEN, allowing One to be dominant. But let's not forget that this in balance had started with the NAP between USA/Bra and Spain.
And no, Spain has no interest in leaving One. Why would they do that ?
