Hello eAustralia,
Hello to all our dear readers and members. I would like to give you an update of the happenings in the RSU and also with in congress (as much as state security can allow).
Congress Elections
The RSU was lucky enough to win all seats that we contested with the recent congress elections.
Some of these names served the RSU last term, and some are returning back into the congress fold. Unfortunately one member is no longer serving for the RSU (Caeser II) as he has decided to move on from eAustralia. We would like to thank him for his service both military and public since coming to eAustralia months ago.
The RSU will continue to try and do eAustralia proud and uphold the countries honour in it's dealings with in congress.
Congress Happenings
While I am limited to go into detail about congress happenings, I will try and touch on a few points.
MPP: On the day after the swearing in ceremony, congress was strongly urged to vote Yes to a MPP with Israel. This was due to the NE law by Cyprus on to our Nebula friend. I am happy to report the RSU backed this law, as we understand the need to help protect our friends.
DoF and Money Markets: An RSU has requested details in regards to eAustralia's finances and the movement of RBA funds to other accounts and also apparent money market plays. While this request was made on day 3,022 however we are still waiting for a detailed report by the DoF.
CS Requests: CS requests policy was brought up by the current CP, to inform all new and returning congress members the law/wishes/hopes that we should abide by. While the RSU can not force it's members to do anything (we encourage free will), the RSU will try and make sure all it's members abide by these rules, no matter how questionable some points are.
Split Threads: As like in the past, the congress threads are split. While this means two discussions could be happening, until we have a common gdoc or some way of informing one side or what the other side is doing, we can only comment/report on the matters that are being raised in our thread (ARP, RSU and KHMC) which leaves the other thread (ADP and APP) to discuss with out knowing what we are doing. Maybe it could of been better to have a split thread based on people and not party affiliations? but that is now in the past and the division will still exist.
Upcoming CP elections
Currently there is one candidate running for CP in eAustralia. At the time of publication these are Thedillpickl (supported by the ADP). Currently he has not released a policy paper.
So the RSU will hold of endorsing any candidate until we see a good policy paper presented (we at the RSU do not want to see a repeat of the January CP term where we had a CP go AWOL and a complete break down of our functioning government). However if someone with in the RSU or another party wants to run, please contact the relevant party president's and release a policy paper. Remember time is running out.

I dont doubt it, but until a formal request or a policy paper it is hard for party members to endorse a candidate
Hes been here 2 weeks. Until I know more of him I'll think twice about voting for him.

An ADP member last month made the split congress thread into a mixed bag and not based upon party affiliation to avoid current and previous issues.

An ADP CP last term, antogonised half of congress and went inactive after 10 days. just saying.
Last congress month love, nice attempt though.
10 days? Mate, that's crap. I really dislike it when people present shite like that as true data.
And if you reckon I antagonised congress, have a think about how it looked from my side. Heavens help anyone who asks if you have a reason for a vote... Because that's so intimidating and scary...

'a country to run away to?' I am pretty sure that I have read those exact same words said by someone else.... I would hate to see two different people reading from the same script.
And Guag... How was Canada?
No different to the other 3 times I was there Rusty.
Shame though that TP medals came in so late, I would still be trying to chase up enough Aus damage to compete with my Canadian damage.

Iran first trip was as Ambassador, Norway was for a break due to RL commitments, Iran the second time was also for 2 clicking after a hard working year in game.

I agree Guag, it works out better an helps try and break the divide. I have tried in the past when creating threads to have a mixed bag, so communication can be shared with in the party.
Re: split threads.
I had to move quickly because of the MPP vote. That meant making do with what I had at the time, which was my phone. On my phone, the easiest way is by party. Since we need a refresh because of Caesar II (and other's) departure it will be randomised by person.
Party groupings were chosen by 1-2 and 3-5 in the Feb election rankings. Want to talk to everyone at the same time? Use the forum.

Thank you for agreeing to follow the rules. If you want to improve "questionable aspects" (not just change it to one group's benefit), talk to me about what you want to do.

Forums are an external site and therefore many people might not want to use it. All I am doing is highlighting to our readers that I can not inform them fully on what is happening.
CS, I did raise my issues and since I cant reproduce the response here.... And from my memory the suggestion raised would not benefit any one group, instead it would make it more impartial.
Money Markets, it was on the day listed in the article. This is not a dig at you, more letting our voters know that their congress members are working and asking questions that had been raised to them. You personally do not have to answer it (I know you are busy in game and in RL), but maybe one of the people you listed could? I am sure that money is well tracked and the details requested could easily be found.....

This comment will have to suffice for my greetings. I just spent 3 hours working on an article to explain my background and explain my plan if elected. I will simply say that the internet gods suck. 🙁 I'll try again after I get some sleep. I work nights in the RL US and it's 4:20pm here ATM.
I had some problems the last few days. I DO NOT like waiting until the last minute to make plans and organize. This is not the way I do things. I wasn't even planning on doing Congress this month. :/
I have been speaking with Ilean some. I believe we can work together, we have some things in common. I need to quickly assemble a cabinet which will be difficult as I'm not familiar with everyone's skills and talents. Fortunately it does not appear to be a time of danger. I would assume that primary job would be to solidify relationships and agreement. I would not expect any radical policy changes but status quo. My specialty is FA, you can never have too many friends or lapse any contact with potential enemies. 😉
I'll say more soon about who I am and my experience in erep. Be aware that I don't like halfway doing things but I must use brevity at this late date. If you think you'd like to be in my cabinet please PM me. I won't have time for lengthy discussion, state you qualifications and short background. If I don't get back with you don't be offended, I simply may not have time for pleasantries.

I am afraid that's my fault when I looked around the party for candidates. Dill is however a very experienced leader, so I picked him.

Normally I would agree. You've no reason to trust me. The aussies I knew 2 years ago are gone. I don't expect anyone to act all gaga over me. Like Marcus said, he asked me to do a job. If I didn't think I could do it I'd have turned him down right then. I'm not one to refuse to help on any team I'm playing.

I know Dill from my TCO days, Pto's and disruptions in congress can happen by Dictators allowing passes in as well
