The Royal Navy
Today the flags on the great ships of The Royal Navy fly at half-mast after the news of the real life death of our great comrade and regiment four captain Alexandre Abrantes. In honour of him the Royal Navy will be renaming regiment 4 to HMS Abrantes.
He was a great man and really strived to do his best. I class him as a friend and one I'll always remember. I hope all of you take time to remember this man tonight, whether you knew him in the game or not. The eUK has lost a true fighter and a true friend. RIP Alex!

Alex and I spoke many times on IRC, often about him wanting to get into active politics, which I eventually persuaded him to do. Alexandre Abrantes is a friendly chap and very caring. We would discuss various things about his home country, Portugal, and his car accident and the loss of both legs and an arm. I have much respect for Alex, despite our minor arguments when he became the PP of The UKPP. Alex was very much dedicated to making things better within The UKPP... so much so that he would often delay having his extra-strong painkillers just so he could manage things for a while longer. Without these painkillers, Alex would often suffer intense pain from his amputations, so I admire him for this.
Friend,
Fellow UKPP Member,
Fellow Royal Navy Member,
Rest In Peace.
such a tragic shame for a player who had the chance to become something great and had merely taken the first steps.
