Join the new world

Hi. I decided to interview the PCP Spokesman Jimbobfrey.

1) What made you join PCP in the first place?

To be bluntly honest, I joined because I saw an article by ACroc called 'PCP New Member Freebies' and I sort of joined to get some of them. Hehe. They required me to stay in the PCP for a week or so but I quickly found that I really loved it here. So, yeah, I stayed and I'm still here a year later.

2) After your first week with us, how did you feel things were going?

I was hopping onto IRC and the PCP forums a lot when I first joined and they were really cool. Everyone was really friendly, fun and there was awesome banter too. So it's a win all round, right? I remember ACroc and Aces man encouraging me to get involved from very early on which was also nice 🙂

3) Could you provide us with some of the reasons that made you stay in PCP?

The people! Seriously, when it gets going on IRC, the PCP can be very fun. People here have been particularly kind too. In the first two months after joining the PCP, I was given 2 Congress medals and Aces man also helped me to be MoH when he had to quit the job - all that time ago when BigAnt was the CP. Then, ACroc wrote a MoH guidebook and answered all my questions. Believe me, there were a lot of them too! Those were just some examples of the many nice things PCPers have done in the time I've been here. PCP comrades FTW! \o/

4) Do you feel that being a member of PCP has allowed you to develop as a player?

Definitely, yeah. They let me get involved in the PCP and then that made me want to keep going and spend all my free time on eRep. Which, of course, I don't do. I mean, I have a life... sort of... not really. Lol. As far as developing is concerned, a certain Rexy developed the use of pool parties in the PCP. They're good!

5) What in-game goals have you set yourself for the future?

There are a couple of tricks up my sleeve. I'm trying to make a library for anyone on eRepublik to write or look at guides, history and other useful or interesting things. I'm also making a little mathematical model to predict outcomes of battles. As for actual in-game stuff, I dunno. Maybe run for PP soon? Conquer the eWorld with a penguin clone army? Who knows? 😮

6) How well do you believe the current PP month is going so far, and is there anything you would do differently?

Dom's doing a good job. I'd like there to be more games and fun stuff. Or a military strike. Ooh. Is anyone doing recruiting at the moment either? That could help. And let's stay in the top 5 forever! PCP stronk!

7) Finally, if you could pick somebody out as the "friendliest member of PCP", who would it be?

Sorry, I hate to give the boring old response but there honestly isn’t any one person who is the friendliest in the PCP. Everyone is! Sorry but it’s true – if you don’t believe me, come and see for yourself!
