[PCP] Congress Log 1

Day 2,204, 09:14 Published in United Kingdom United Kingdom by Jimbobfrey

Hi! This isn't a PCP Spokesman article. Oh! The shock and horror! 😮

This is my Congress log for the November/December 2013 term. What do you think about the way I am voting? If any of you PCPers have suggestions, please feel free to share them with me so I can help to represent you better \o/

The plan of action is to continue taking a log of what I do in Congress and feedback to all of you lovely PCP comrades every now and then so you can tell me off or praise me or whatever you want to do.

1. Canada NE

I vote😛 No

My reasons: Both our government and the Canadian government have stated that they do not want a war just yet. To respect our government’s wishes, I voted no, even though many of our citizens (including myself actually) would like this war to go ahead.

Outcome: No - 7 to 33

2. Change VAT tax from 6% to 10% on food

I vote😛 Yes

My reasons: Due to the new determination updates, we’re getting surrounded by enemies like the Scandinavian countries, France, Netherlands, etc. I reckon it would be a good idea to raise food taxes - this would give our government more money which could be useful if we get into heavy warfare. I also don’t think raising VAT to 10% would be too crippling either.

Outcome: No - 6 to 30

3. MPP with Slovenia

I vote😛 Yes

My reasons: Slovenia is a TWO ally.

Outcome: Yes - 35 to 2

4. MPP with Serbia

I vote😛 Yes

My reasons: Everyone loves Serbia!

Outcome: Yes - 33 to 2

5. MPP with Australia

I vote😛 Yes

My reasons: Australia is a member of TWO/ACT and they also have a good relationship with the eUK at the moment.

Outcome: Yes - 35 to 4

6. MPP with Argentina

I vote😛 Yes

My reasons: Argentina are a wonderful pro-TWO ally and they fight during our night time.

Outcome: Yes - 33 to 6

7. MPP with Romania

I vote😛 Yes

My reasons: Romania are a powerful pro-TWO ally who are very beneficial to us.

Outcome: Yes - 31 to 4

So, yeah, that’s what I’ve been up to in Congress. Right now we are primarily discussing how we actually communicate so there’s not much to say about our discussions just yet.

Still, please let me know what kind of policies you guys would like to have put in place - after all, we Congressmen are your representatives. Or we’re supposed to be anyway 😉
