Hello!

In this article I'm formalizing my candidacy for next presidential elections. But who am I? I believe the new players don't know much about me.



A brief profile

Playing erepublik for more than two years, I participated of many Norwegian governments; I also was once an enthusiastic writer (you can see in my old articles); real-life time has decreased my activity through the last year, but now, particularly in the month of August, I have some free time to invest here.

A governmental plan

I was a candidate for presidency twice in the last year. By that time, I was the first Norwegian to propose in a presidential candidacy that Norway should leave EDEN and join in Asgard. Of course, my intention was a little bit radical for that time, even if I got some support, it was not approved by most of the population. However, time proved that it was a bold idea, and so of course I think we are in the right alliance and intend to keep the great cooperation with our friends. New allies are not discarded, but unfortunately most military pacts come up against our few money resources.

I was thinking about giving incentives to people invite friends to erepublik. Norway is one of the smallest nations, if not the smaller one, so maybe the government could stabilish goals and reward the ones who get 3 friends and make them reach level 23 or 25, for example. Maybe a 5-gold reward. It is just an idea. I'd like to know your opinion.

A training war is always exciting and I would like we to have some. It can be negociated.

If I could keep the good work that has been demostrated by the last presidents, it would be a great achievement.



The cabinet

The main reason for lauching a candidacy one week before elections is to gather enough people to my cabinet. Of course I could talk with the ones I know and trust, but I would probably be excluding some new players that want also to be part of the government, so that I'm going to say with are the requirements for each function and hope you to send me a PM telling on what function you intend to be.

Governing Council
number of members: 3
requirement: be a former country president.
function: to help me understand the agenda of a president and give me hints and timely opinions. Can be present in some meetings as well, but it is not a function that requires much time, probably more just in the beginning.

Vice-Presidency
number of members: 1
requirement: be a former minister.
function: to substitute me when I need to be out, which will occasionally happen and be active for conversations.

Ministry of Defense
number of members: 2 (a minister and a vice-minister)
requirement: for minister, be experienced as MoD or vMoD. for vice-minister, no requirements.
function: to be in charge of organizing military efforts, selecting and making public the daily orders, distributing weapons and food for soldiers and to administrate the army.

Ministry of Foreign Affairs
number of members: 2 (a minister and a vice-minister)
requirement: for minister, be experienced as MoFA or vMoFA. for vice-minister, be experienced as vMoFA or ambassador.
function: to keep in touch with foreign governments, be updated with the changes in eworld and organize the ambassadors.

Ministry of Finance
number of members: 1 (a minister)
requirement: be experienced as MoF or vMoF.
function: to control the finance and budget of the country and monitor the markets.

Ministry of Immigration
number of members: 2 (a minister and a vice-minister)
requirement: for minister, be experienced as MoI or vMoI. for vice-minister, no requirements.
function: to organize the citizenship applications, keep in touch with the applicants, and submit the applications to the congress.

Ministry of Education
number of members: 1 (a minister)
requirement: none.
function: to instruct new players and publish articles about basic erepublik features.

Ministry of Social Affairs
number of members: 1 (a minister)
requirement: none.
function: to organize the new program I wish to implement, that would grant the players that recruit new citizens to the country, under certain regulations.

Ministry of Fun and Games
number of members: 1 (a minister)
requirement: none.
function: to interact and make society active publishing fun articles ingame and fun threads in the forum.
