[MoF] National Subsidies for Production Facilities

The Government of Canada will run a subsidy program for eCanadians to increase their food production facilities. Any eCanadian can apply for the subsidy. Simply leave a comment on the article for 50% of the subsidy. Once you have received the first 50% subsidy, two options are available for proof of building:
1. Locating new facilities in your region of residency
Build your companies and locate them in the region of your residency. Then send a message to Canadian Ministry of Finance or Mann551 letting them know you have completed building and locating the new facilities. You will receive the other 50% subsidy at this point.
2. Locating new facilities in region outside of residency
Take a screenshot of the total number of companies in the holding you will locate your new companies in. Build the new companies and locate them in the holding. Take another screenshot of the total number of companies in the same holding. Send both screenshots in a message to the Canadian Ministry of Finance or Mann551. You will receive the other 50% subsidy at this point.
The total subsidy per player will be 20,000 cc. In order to receive the full subsidy, the player must create at minimum (2) new companies and provide proof according to the methods listed above.

I recommend not creating low quality raw material factories. Taxes will greatly diminish returns.
And you'll burn up Energy which uses the food you're producing. 🥴
I suggest a Q2 Food Factory with a Q5 Hunting Lodge to supply Food Raw Material.

Per employee base production of Q2 Factory requires 2 FRM. Q5 Hunting Lodge provides 2.5, the Q4 provides only 1.75 FRM. If you insist on Q4 FRM be prepared to buy supplemental FRM from market. 35 gold x 510 (price of gold) = 17850cc, if you have 0 gold take 4 days to buy some. Now you can WaM FRM and post on Market. Congratulations, you are a Food producer. 😄
FWIW, our Food Bonus is currently 100% so double that.
I've long been a fan of Q2 food. In my opinion it's worth the cost upgrading from Q1 (this was especially true back in the days when we had more 45% sales and one Q2 cost practically nothing more than 2 Q1s). You'll eventually recoup the upgrade cost back through reduced Work Tax while benefitting from reduced energy use.
Yes, with enough time you can also recoup the upgrade cost for Q3s and above but the timelines are much, much longer so unless you really have money to burn or really want to save that extra bit of energy from working less (at which point why aren't you just buying food?) it just doesn't seem worth it.
That's because the amount of energy in Q2 is double that of Q1. Costs in production is approximately half. Returns producing Q3 are significantly lower, etc. But the first upgrade to Q2 is pretty much mandatory if you're trying to make a profit.
