In my last article I announced my candidacy for President along with some of the people I plan on bringing along to weather the storm if I am elected. I have received a lot of questions and support from many. I appreciate all of the responses I’ve gotten!

Let’s get down to business.

Department of the Interior
The Interior Department is tasked with bringing new players into the game, making sure they receive important information in their first few days and weeks, and keeping new players active and alive. They hand out food, run a mentoring program, message brand new citizens, and help oversee the Department of Education. No one knows what it takes to engage with new citizens better than someone who recently was one, so I’m choosing of our country’s brightest young stars, HobbitTon, to take the reigns in this Department. He’s a successful business owner, a media mogul, a six time Congressmember, after being eBorn only six months ago, and is a perfect example of what we hope all new citizens are capable of achieving. I’m excited to have Hobbit on my team, and I know with him in charge of the Interior there will be more new citizens just like him rising up in the future.


Department of Media
I’ve had the great pleasure of working with Gulden Draak in previous administrations, and I have always been a huge admirer of his work. He’s an expert WHPR writer and does a fantastic job at making sure the nation is informed of what the government is up to. I’m also making it a personal goal to restart live press conferences on IRC that will be moderated and by Gulden with press staff members fielding questions from citizens. The people deserve a live forum to bring their up their concerns and have them answered.


Department of Technology
Our Tech Department provides us with many tools that are essential in helping us be an efficient and effective government. These tools are especially important in helping us message brand new citizens to make sure they are well taken care of as they venture into the New World. I’ve decided to pick s0beit to be the Secretary of Technology. He has been one of the most innovative programmers in eRep over the last month, and if you haven’t heard of some of his work yet, you will soon. Other technology experts like Laxsnor, AndraX2000, or Blazix will all be involved as well. All hand must be be on deck for this important part of development for our nation. Harnessing technology and using it to our advantage gives us an extremely important edge over our enemies.


Department of Defence
The Department of Defence has slowly morphed into more of an Interior program over the course of history. It was initially created to serve as a liaison between the JCS and the President, assist in the military reforms that were going on back then, and help with military planning and strategy. These days, they hand out weapons to younger players and organise militia support. This is not due to the Department of Defense itself, but is due to Secretaries being cut out of much of the process they were supposed to be involved in.

This will change if I’m elected. The JCS frequently decides on a military campaign as a group. While many of our campaigns have come with great input from the JCS, we could always use more. Some Chairmen of the Joint Chiefs of Staff have cited a lack of trust of the executive branch or SoD for the somewhat insulated nature in which they plan, but putting together great minds can’t hurt. We must pool all of our resources to continue growing stronger as we move into the new year.

I’ve chosen Speedcat McNasty, former Commander of Seal Team 6 and USWP Legal Director, and Max Wallingbottom III, Commander of SEES SS, to be my Secretaries of Defence. Why two? I believe they both bring lots of experience to the table from their different militia managing jobs. Speedy has been SoD for the past few weeks and will assist in the training of young Walli-san. They’ve both proven their strategic success in surprise attacks and resistance wars.

I expect them to work fluidly with the JCS in planning our military campaigns and strategy. This is a war game and we always need some moar war! We will all benefit from a stronger partnership between the Department of Defense and the JCS.

This is the start of remarkable new time in eUS history. This cabinet is put together of the best of the best in each field. Some faces are new. Some are old. All are brilliant at what they do, have a good time doing what they do, and are going to be putting in the effort and care into their work that that citizens of this country deserve.

A lot can be said about a man. At then end of the day, sometimes a man’s word is often all he has. The promises he makes and whether or not he keeps those. The things he hears and whether or not he chooses to hold close the things that need not be shared with others. Whether or not, in time of need, he will put you ahead of all other concerns.

A man’s word is his honour.
A man’s word is his bond.

I have come as far as I have in eRepublik, been entrusted with many secrets and sensitive information, and been given such great responsibility, because of the strength of my word.

America, if elected, I’m going to work harder than ever before to strengthen and lead this country.
