I do not think anyone cares what you do. Fight for, against, or sit on sidelines it is your choice, but the little damage you do, money you put up, or influence with others are all very small. you will not make any difference to the outcome, your insignificant.

I also moved to another country during the time you are referring to, if you wanted to, I would pay to see that happen.
