[GOVT] A Quick Explanation

Citizens of the Republic,
My sincere apologies for the lack of information over the past few days but there have been a number of issues that have curtailed the Government and prevented us to committing to the job we wanted to.
Much like the rest of the eWorld, we had thought that once you earned a token from this event, you could spend it on a resource which your country desired. We had planned perfectly for this situation and it was quite a shock to the system when an alternative event arose that would last for the duration of the month. We have since adapted and have learned how to manage this event. Those who join #IrishArmy will see the activity and buzz amongst the community as we work side by side to try and achieve the best economic bonuses for Ireland.
The event has proved exhausting and tiring and in the early days I was up until all hours in attempts to win us resources, as other things took priority in real life (exams), my personal activity within eRepublik took a hit and I was not able to be as much of a use as I had hoped. However individuals such as Don Croata, Irishbhoy1967 and Sweet Drinker have held the nation together through these turbulent times.
Also due to my lack of availability, I had handed over the Dictatorship position to my trusted Vice President - Irishbhoy1967 who has since taken the lead in protecting Ireland and working for a better future.
From Wednesday onwards I will be more active and be able to make up on lost ground.
My apologies Ireland, but we will continue to be successful.

all i see is zz's in the irc channel maybe i just am to late for the bu each time :F and most of the time questions is ignored. there is usually not a set plan. im am sorry to be negative but dont think ireland is really organized in the irc. perhaps address that. there is also no overall plan. i follow mostly shouts . it maybe confusing for new players.
