[EXTRA] The Shinsengumi's Creed

Hi, it's ahava3233 reporting to you from Matsuyama! In any event, I wanted to write an article to make it clear as to what the Shinsengumi represent! So, here's a code of ideals that we follow together as a team!



The Shinsengumi in RL Japan were an open Samurai Police Force. As such, the Shinsengumi in eJapan have their own tenets to follow as citizens in uniform as well.



1. Protect eJapan from all threats, foreign and domestic. Be assertive in your efforts, stand strong and voice your opinion. Do not stand silent. Fight until the last man and do not yield, for our honor!

2. Watch over your team mates and allies; support one another emotionally and with material or informational support as well when needed. Work together as a community (and in Shinsengumi's commune) and listen to one another.

3. Do not judge or insult others based on who they are, only judge others by their actions, but be fair and give second chances when appropriate. Do not discriminate against anyone on the basis of anything that may be considered a protected class (race, national origin, gender, religion, sexual orientation, etc).

4. Be a model citizen and maintain a strong sense of honor. Be honest and true to your word, your clan, and your country! Represent your ideals!

5. Strive for nothing less than clear, democratic, and super effective administration and policies. If you think you can make things better, make a plan and act on that plan with resolve!

6. Be fond of and have respect for Japanese media, history, and culture. Whatever you do, do with love and passion for Japan!

7. Serve your country, empower yourself and learn to become a strong politician-soldier in your own right! Take whatever chance you have to learn anything of value so you can use it in the future! Aim high and don't stop until you reach your goals!

8. Noblesse Oblige - Nobility Obliges. Do not abuse power, use it for the greater good of everyone!
