[EXTRA] I Solemnly Swear I AM Up to Some Good, Maybe?

Hey it's ahava3233 reporting late in occupied Chubu. In any event, I wanted to write a speculative article about something coming from Plato that might actually be good...for once.
I know this might be shocking news for some of you, but apparently Plato doesn't just keep all his gold money to himself; he hires people! Anyway I just noticed the following job postings on the job classifieds website (here and here).
Now well, while I don't know much about the Development Process itself, I do know enough about the industry to understand what these employees are for. For the first ad, Plato is looking for a development professional who is experienced in programming for mobile devices using a 3D game engine. For the second ad, Plato is looking for someone experienced in integrating 3D Graphic Design Work into a functional game whilst sacrificing as little performance as possible.
Thus, it is clear that Plato wants to bring some sort of 3D gameplay aspect to eRepublik, which could be accessible from your browser or an app on mobile devices and/or your PC. Now we know that most recently, Plato added the Guerilla Warfare mini-game to eRepublik. So, at the low end of our expectations, this could simply be a visual upgrade to the Guerilla Warfare game.
Alternatively though, this could be something much greater. Plato did rule out the idea of FPS/Action gameplay in the ads by mentioning that eRepublik labs only develops Strategy Games, but otherwise truly wide-scale multiplayer PVP battles with vivid animations and graphics could be added through the work of these employees. Or, even better, Plato may intend to completely remove the game's browser based interface and base the game in a 3D environment like a proper Free-to-play MMO Game.
Of course though, some of you are thinking of this lovely comic strip this while reading my article...
So if Plato has yet to Fix Economy what can we expect from him? Will we ever even see anything of this nature at all? Vote this up, subscribe, and leave your comments below if you'd like, or not.

Bubbles.
What most players don't get is that this game is funded by themselves. By donations from players. They have to support this website and it's servers and databases. Plus pay wages to the numerous people in the company that work to improve this game. All the money for that comes from donations. The main idea in every update is to get donations to they can continue this game. Changes in economy are being planned and I suppose you already understood from what I said that it will be aimed towards donating players.
As for the 3D stuff, my guess is towards the website layout - it's getting a bit dull and maybe they are thinking of changing it. I don't think they would hire people to change something they recently added ingame (the Guerilla Fights)...
unity engine in a web browser? ........of course, a more shiny tug-of-war is exactly what we asked for *rolleye*
I think it might make sense with what they were somewhat talking about at the last summit, they mentioned new tanks of sorts and more vehicles.
if you search erepublik summit 2013 on youtube, you can find a video with utterly crappy quality but you can get a hint of what they are planning if you go a little bit into the video and look at the projector screen, you can see that they're aiming for some silly visual experience towards normal battles.
interesting concept reinvesting in your cash cow... just crazy enough to work...
Unity has the potential to turn this crap excuse for a game into something interesting, there are more than a few game mechanics that would need fixing tho.
Love that last Gif.
Well, something should change .... 😛
