[eUS VP] Into the Second Week!

Day 1,888, 23:25 Published in USA USA by John Killah

GOOD MORNING AMERICA! … Well, ok, it’s night time there while I write this, but for me, it’s 6:26am when I started this (This is the earliest you’ll ever see me up) so suck it up :3

Welcome to your second weekly update from your Vice President, and hopefully, it will give you more content like you asked for last week.

Where to start? On from last week.

The beginning of the second week is vastly different from the first … By now, you’ve been with your colleagues in the executive for a week, you’ve got acclimatised to them and the environment, so there becomes only one thing to do, and that’s to work your socks off.

The first main focus for the last week has been to work on Operation Gangnam Style (God I love that operation name). As you’re all no doubt aware by now, this war is aimed against Taiwan in order to liberate our allies Japan and South Korea, while finally giving you the public what you had been demanding – A war the US is actually leading. I mean it when I say your wish for a war was seriously one of the main precursors to starting a war … we wanted to give something back to you for your patience and mostly faith in us.

Originally, we was going to name it Operation Taiwanese Takeout … but Artela then suggest Gangnam Style since we’re liberating Psy’s homeland of South Korea and suddenly … forget the hungry operation name, we had a cool one, one that was liked universally in the executive. The best thing we did about this was we planned for possible scenarios throughout the campaign. We accidently lose (Impossible really, but we planned it anyway), we made sure we had backup routes ready.

On the previous weeks front, it’s still proving difficult to find a compromise on how to increase efficiency within the USAF to operate under a constrained budget … I know this has been causing headaches for our Sec Def Emdoulegee, so give the guy some love, it’s not an easy job.

I hope you’re all enjoying laying the smackdown against Taiwan for the US and gaining some damage towards your True Patriot medals … I know I’ve enjoyed it 😃

On another front

Obviously the other major thing we’ve worked on this week was from the State Department. Last week you mentioned you wanted more information about State, and I’d just like to say I understand that, but at the time, State likes to keep their work extremely quiet so people don’t cause diplomatic upsets … I hope you understand that line of reasoning.

Anyways, they had been working on securing us Trial Membership into CoT … Finally fulfilling 3 consecutive governments workings to get us into an Alliance that isn’t full of people (SerHun) we absolutely detest with every single nerve in our bodies (See: TWO), or an alliance that is dying and that we’ve left in the past because we were tired of playing second fiddle to the core members (See: EDEN).

We know a lot of the public dislike some of the alliance members, mainly Macedonia, but there are always going to be disliking in an alliance and you’d be surprised to hear that they’ve been working with us to try and get any of their citizens that would listen out of the AFA. Naturally you’ll find some are still there, but they’ve been condemned by their government and made aware that their actions are their own. I know you will be sceptical in believing that, and we can accept that, but we want you to understand the facts.

State also worked with Defense on this to help co-ordinate some of the USAF’s Mobile forces to help in some CoT Battles while we were trying to win Trial Membership … You’ll already be aware of this since the State Department released an article pointing out where USAF members fought hard for Mexico in their battle against Columbia … with the Sec State Tenshibo dropping a maddening 64m damage, all Americans in the Top 5 Campaign dropping a total of nearly 98m between the three of them … Hell, I dropped about 7.5m, would of done more but I ran out of Candy Bars ;_;

There were other battles too that we fought in for CoT, but they weren’t as heavy or as public as the Mex/Col battle.

Elsewhere in the week

We recently went past Party President Elections, and this is where Jefferson Locke and the Department for Homeland Security shone. Before the day even begun we knew where the battlefields were going to be – Retaking Inci’s old party from AFA hands to prevent it being a puppet any longer, and more importantly, the USWP.

AFA had managed to get one of its members into the #1 spot on the USWP List, and anyone who has paid attention to how the game works, the #1 spot is EXTREMELY Important since it’s the first anyone who votes would see. Thus people running for PP covet the spot and attempt to grab it asap. Unfortunately, AFA managed it and set the stage for an epic showdown that would decide whether the AFA would manage to PTO a Top 5 party or go home with their heads hung in failure.

The result? Inci Party was retaken … USWP was defended again AFA … and several other small 6th parties were liberated from the AFA’s grasp. Sure we didn’t ATO the AFA, but in light of the success that day, what we did was far better than managing previous goals. So a big thanks to Jefferson Locke and the DHS crew, marvellous job!

As for Interior … I hate having to say this, because I’d love to give you something … but the simple fact is, Interior is doing what everyone knows it does time and time again – Fundraisers and helping newbies with its programs … there’s nothing new to announce on that front unfortunately.

So that is it for this weeks update … and we’re halfway through the term! I hope you appreciate the increase in sharing this week, I know we can’t live up to the “perfect standards” some people champion of “Full Transparency” in which we reveal every single action we make. That would be impractical because some things are better kept secret … we all have secrets.

Also, I would like to take a moment to make a quick announcement … It may seem early, but I wanted to get it out into the open as quickly as possible so I could get it off my chest. I know last time I didn’t do so well, but I’ve become reinvigorated since this. So –

This is my declaration of intent to run for President of the US (again) on February 5th!

Keep it chillin eAmerica!

Your Vice President and PotUS Hopeful, JK
