{eAust DoFA} Farewell NEBULA and Update Day 3,132

Day 3,132, 19:16 Published in Australia Australia by Australian Foreign Affairs

Greeting eAustralia,

Todays update will cover a couple of things, but most importantly on behalf of your government I will be discussing eAustralia's departure from NEBULA. While I will try and cover everything, please forgive me if I miss any particular details.

Farewell NEBULA

Nebula description taken from their page:

"NEBULA was founded day 2671 of the new world. Shortly after the founding of NEBULA the Czech Republic also joined the alliance on day 2683. A few months later, Uruguay joined Nebula on day 2,744. After the collapse of LETO and Asgard, it was realized that a tight-knit support network with strong ties and principles dedicated to providing immediate assistance to vulnerable pro-Asterian nations was required. With a mutual understanding of the hardships in regards to struggling enations, NEBULA is committed to organization, prosperity of member nations, and primarily defense against foreign invaders. Top priority is reserved to any alliance member nation(s) in crisis. All other priorities are focused on assisting ASTERIA and its allies."

eAustralia was one of the founding members of NEBULA well over a year ago. The alliance brought together several countries that would of been considered 'mid-range', friends and Asteria leaning.

During our time in NEBULA, eAustralia always played an active role, be it within the chain of command, with assistance in defensive and offensive battles, with material support and financial support, the use of an eAustralian Org for newspaper articles and MM movements. However over the past few months, eAustralia has been looking at it's own future and how we best sit in the current NEBULA alliance structure.

The topic of NEBULA has come up many times inside of congress and has been discussed in great detail (do not worry, this departure was not an over night decision). After numerous votes and debates, eAustralia made the choice to leave the Alliance we helped create.

What about our friends

Even though eAustralia is no longer going to be apart of NEBULA, we stand committed to our friends with in the alliance. This was brought up when the elected government came to power. All NEBULA members were informed about eAustralia's thoughts in regards to our membership in this alliance.

Since this time, eAustralia has renewed our MPP with eJapan (a NEBULA member), has resigned our MPP with eIsrael (a NEBULA member) and has committed to assisting all NEBULA members in what ever way we can. The friendships we have built up over time will not be forgotten and we will stand by our friends, even if we are not under the NEBULA umbrella.

eAustralia formally wishes all of the members of NEBULA, new members and old, all the best for the future. We think fondly on our time with-in NEBULA and hope our friendships continue to grow between our nations.

Whats next in terms of alliances

eAustralia will stay un-aligned for a while. This does not mean we will not stand by our friends, but we will not rush into a new alliance. eAustralia still considers itself pro-Asteria and will continue to keep up good relations with these nations.

With the current resource shake up, the eAustralian government believes it is best to standby and wait to see the fall out from the resource wars. Talks have taken place in brief with other nations about a potential new look to the different alliances and potential creating of a brand new alliance. However until the fall out is fully felt around the eGlobe, eAustralia will continue on it's current path of small but good MPPs, constant contact with friendly governments around the eGlobe and also contact with governments that could be considered influential and close to us.

eAustralia wants to say THANK YOU to all past and current members of NEBULA
Hail NEBULA
Friends always

Other news in Brief

* Signing of MPP between eAustralia and eIsrael: Our two nations have signed a MPP in a show of support for eIsrael's desire to be free once again from occupying forces. Australia and Israel for months have worked on the idea of an 'MPP when in need' this enabled both nations to save money while they were in TW's or quiet periods.

* Signing of MPP between eAustralia and ePolan😛 Our two nations have renewed our MPP. This is a sign of enduring support and partnership to each other.

The DoFA is always working on building our countries standing in the eWorld as well as trying to ensure the best for our nation on the international front. If you have any idea's, suggestions or thoughts, please feel free to contact someone inside cabinet to discuss them.
