[DPI] Changes in Economic Module

Hi All!

I saw that there were changes implemented in the game,so Im gonna give a detail and describe the changes and at the same time,show advantages and disadvantages,I intend this to be a useful article,so mention in comments if it was or not.


Lets evaluate the Change 🙂

So what basically has happened is that the concept of different currencies has been destroyed,basically,Monetary Market has been unified for the whole world,it will only show the cost in your CS currency for you and the other guys for the other guy but its value will be the same.
Market hasnt been singularised due to different tax rates I suppose and if done,Id have criticised it big time 😛

Now lets detail it,it means that there would be significant changes in Monetary Market prices which I expect to fall as there is one for the whole world now and obviously Chinese gold is cheaper than Indian but we can buy at Chinese price now,get my point?

Also,it can rise given that they use it to make more money,but that,I consider,is another factor.

Anyways,now enough of detail,lets get down to evaluation,the fun part

Lets Evaluate

Though this Change has more in store for Disadvantages than Advantages,I would go with Advantages First


Advantages

1) The highest advantage present is for smaller countries,the ones which dont have the privilege of cheap gold,now they can buy it from ones like China and Turkey who have 10/10 and hence make economic progress.

2) The change would mean a fall in prices as gold would be available cheaply of all general goods which simply means help for public as they get cheaper stuff,though I doubt many buy it :/

Now,what I think there are plentiful,Disadvantages

Disadvantages

1) I will start from the very first point of Advantages,it would mean cheaper gold for Small countries but it would take away the sense of being a "superpower" from a bigger one,they would no longer have the privacy inthe MM and it would result in loss of economical strength which could be given to citizens only in return for their services which simply isnt fair,they fought hard for those regions,only to "share" the benifits with all,even enemies??

2) As the goods will be sold cheaper due to cheap gold,people'd get more factories,cheaper goods,AND the price of factories (in INR) would be same,which means tougher to get them....

3) Market has always been bot dependent and if it fails at any given time due to ANY reason,it would simply be a worldwide economical disaster,Huge fall in prices and demand and large stocks laying unused,only nations at war would be able to settle that but that too,without adequaetly paying the suppliers,and what about Raws,you cant dissolve them without a bot imo,and a slight inactivity of bot = Big disaster in eRep

4) The above 3 were what "Could" or "May" happen but this point is what "Would" happen,people made money by having CS of a country with less resources and would then work for high wages in foreign countries and use that money to buy their Dirt Cheap food/weps and sell that in their homelands,though that wasnt too profitting Gold wise,it did earn them a heap-o-extra currency which they could use to make own Raw material companies. Now as the currency is unified,no matter where they go,they cant buy others stuff (thats what I think it is) and only way is Monetary Market which changes with the clock,huge risks,so thats one point killed 🙁

5) Many people made money by buying cheap and selling expensive golds,not applicable now as other countries take over.

There were a few more in my mind but I thuoght just let it be or it'd be another string of "I quit"-ers.
I will try and find loopholes which can help earning in this system as well and will inform you about it as soon as I do 😉
