[CRO-MOFA] Riders of the storm

Hello eWorld!

The main reason why I’m writing this article is to express our gratitude to all of our allies who stood there for us last night and all the nights before. It’s been a while since we had some fun in this game and we could finally see the whole of our nation fighting with pleasure. So, once again, thank you for everything. Friends we’ve gathered during the last few years (decade soon) playing this game is probably the only thing that keeps us in here.



LOYALTY



eCroatia is a pretty strange country, we’ve been here for 9 years (our birthday comes soon too) and many things has changed, except one. We’ve always been loyal to our allies, it’s just the way we play this game, regardless of consequences. We made our mistakes, we did some bad moves, we wasn’t always right about things, but I’m sure we have never betrayed a friend. If anything, Croatian pride in this game is loyalty.

We had individuals who could change the outcomes of the battle, we had the biggest army, we’ve been through all the phases of this game and the only time we couldn’t keep in touch with the game is when the alliances turned more into damage market and friendships became less important. We failed to adopt to those changes and that’s the reason we’re not the strongest ones anymore. Do we regret it? Maybe, just like everyone else we’d like to be stronger, but there’s also something which sometimes is more valuable than anything else and that’s dignity. Something we’ve never lost.

We were and we will always be there for our friends and even when time changes and when we get to choose between allies and power we’ll always make the ‘wrong move’. Is it really a wrong move? Time will tell, we can only say we don’t regret it, not anymore. Croats can be proud on our history. We’ve burned ourselves in our own stubbornness and lack of pragmatic thinking when it comes to diplomacy. It does sounds bad, but it’s not really, we can always look both our friends and our enemies straight in the eyes and say we did it our way.




RIDERS OF THE STORM


When it was hardest we could always count on our friends. We’ve been losing regions, resources and the worst thing we could lose - people. But sooner or later we’d always get back on the track and continue with what we do the best - fighting. We’ve been riding the storms and we’ll keep riding them with pride.

I’m very enthusiastic and optimistic about the future of eCroatia and this game in general. Things are slowly getting back to what this game was about - friends and selfless help. It does looks like the game is changing back to what we love. More and more countries are approaching us and the game mechanics are in favour of our culture of loyalty and support. That’s what makes us stronger and that’s what makes us even more motivated to continue with what we’ve started.

eCroatia is building itself from the scratch, we’re cleaning our own backyard so we can lead the way for others, we’re organizing our country so we can serve as an example to others in the future. Mark my words, we’ll be back to our former glory soon and our allies & friends will feel what it’s like when Croats rides the storm. We are playing again and it will be harder than ever to kick us out of it.
