It is about time that you heard something from your president, well here it is:

The treaty with Poland
As you are probably all aware, we have a treaty with Poland that has to be signed for every month by the new presidents. So I signed this treaty after an approval from congress. The treaty can be found here: tinyurl.com/eNL-ePL-treaty

Newspaper contest
The interaction within the community is one of the main reasons most of us are here. The fact that you are reading this is already a sign of that. It is important that there is some recognition for all these writers who give us a reason to log in to the game for more than only your daily tasks. At the end of this term we will announce the player who we as government think had the best newspaper, and give him the attention he deserves. As a little extra this player will receive 1000cc besides eternal fame. The runner up will get 500cc.
It should be noted that we don’t simply count entries or votes, and we are not interested in political propaganda or material that is not originally yours.

Government budget
The budget that Trannsvaal I is working with looks like this:
- CO budget (12.000cc)
- Newspaper contest (1.500cc)
- Forum registration bonus (2.500cc)
- MPP’s (20.000cc)
- Replenishment EF (9.000cc)
Total: 45.000cc

The amount of currency reserved to flow into the Emergency Fund is 20% of the budget. That might increase when other reservations are not fully used. It is unlikely for example that we will be serving ten new forum subscribers with a bonus.
