Dear citizens of the Netherlands,
With pain in my heart I have to say that most of my ministers were unable to invest enough time this term. So far we've seen articles on the dictatorship which is the most important topic this term. Nothing really new came to light though not everyone knows about the pro's and con's on the current dictatorship in eNL. A poor economic report(it needs more data to become interesting) and one MoD order article.. NOT ENOUGH!
Behind closed doors I've been in contact with our neighbors in order to start talks about a regional Training War agreement. Two of our neighbors have shown interest, others replied with a blunt 'NO' or ignored the message I sent them.
After proposing a Training War with Belgium and informing our friends in Sweden about my wish to start a training war with Belgium I received some different feedback. Sweden who occupied Belgium and still occupy one region didn't want to leave Belgium unless they put up to big of a fight. Belgium seemed open to a training war with our little country though their current internal politics isn't as stable as it once was. in the mean time Sweden has released both Flanders and Brussels and Belgium now has a border with us again. We might be at war again soon, of course this depends on the Belgian government.
Portugal, our ally and member of Asteria has been a silent ally for a long time. eNL hasn't been in contact with Portugal for a long time now. This month that changed and a conversation has been started between myself and their MoFA. We'd like to build on our relationship and eventually sign an MPP as sign of our strengthened friendship.
I am worried for all of us. activity has reached an all time low this month. We all know our community is declining and we have been facing activity problems for a long time but right now we are facing something else. I foresee low to nil involvement in Orion and a government who does nothing more than renew our MPPs.
Right now there is one presidential candidate on the ballot. GdlR who is in two-click and doesn't have time to actually 'be' our president is the only one who is running! Yes, she is capable to be our president but simply put I'm worried. What will happen when she wins the elections?
There are few people who know what is going on in our Alliance. I hope/wish/want other players to join Orion HQ so 1. you meet new friends 2. learn about the international politics. 3. learn about international warfare and strategy.
In the past two weeks the eWorld has been at war. Orion as close ally to Asteria has been target of some attacks as well. Cuba has been attacked and we managed to fend of Latvia in a direct airstrike. Canada has been attacked, France and Cuba continue their training wars in the middle east (against Egypt and Saudi Arabia), Chile has been defeated and Lithuania continues to fight in their training war with Latvia. These are just the wars with Orion members. Our country has not been involved in a direct battle as it would cost us 300k cc to launch an AS on an enemy with a small chance of succes, economically not realistic. Luckily we were able to fight for our allies in important battles and contribute to their succes. (I hope we wil be at war with Belgium soon so we can fight for our own flag)
With this level of activity we will become an inactive island in the world called eRepublik. We will sail away from international relations and be forgotten.

The inactivity is an endless cycle. Because there are so few people, it is hardly worth to put time and effort in an article, since it won't be read by anyone... And because few articles are made, the inactivity only increases...
We need to break this cycle, but I notice with myself that even my motivation is declining...

Same here. Not when it comes to article as I didn't write those a lot, but when it comes to supporting matters, helping people or in general being active for eNL or even in with eRep...
For most of us eRep is something from the past. We still log in, read some articles, train and use our Food Fights, but that's all. None of us is really involved anymore...
Somewhat the same for me though. Training and working all day long.. But battling isn't there for me now..
The #1 problem, the game is shit. And every update is either grahic or useless

I guess many of us are waiting for this game to end... yet it won't, because still too many are buying gold and packs. The only way to make the makers change the game for the better is to stop buying their stuff altogether.
