Note to moderators and admins:
This article represents only my opinion, it does not intend to encourage any public debate, i'm including this note because my last article was deleted and i got 0,5 forfeit points. My right to express my opinion in any king of media, including erepublik is granted by the Universal Declaration of Human Rights. In an antinomy (conflict between rules) international conventions shall always prevail, in any legal system.
Art. 19 - "Everyone has the right to freedom of opinion and expression; this right includes freedom to hold opinions without interference and to seek, receive and impart information and ideas through any media and regardless of frontiers."
The Universal Declaration of Human rights is adopted by all UN members, including Romania, USA and Brazil, if this attempt to suppress our opinion by unfair ways continue i'm willing to make a formal complaint to the Human Rights Council representatives.
BTW, i'm a law student, don't think i don't know what i'm talking about, call your legal department and they will teach you a little bit about freedom of speech and the penalties given to companies that don't respect it.

LOL, this commercial game venture is not governed by rules and conventions of international diplomacy. RL UN has no jurisdiction, although 'twould be interesting if it did.
Cute cartoon, tho.

Well said my friend!
You argument is informed, lucid and well presented.
I doubt eRepublik (the company) has a legal department, but I sure hope they have the common sense to see the truth in your argument.
lol'd at note at end
Babies are cute, though~!
@Anaille Kolshire: Sure it is, the Human Rights is signed by every country of UN and the law is incorporated to their legal system. So the human rights apply to erepublik and every company (if am employee is prohibited to criticize his boss, the same apply)
>>i'm a law student, don't think i don't know what i'm talking about
It's a game - the product you choose, if you don't like it - you don't choose it. That simple - they do everything they want with their customers. They are not a government organization to take responsibility for the social... They do what they want, and you have one right - to choose.
*That what seems me true (at least I found it through playing eRepublik)
I hope the article woun't be deleted, because it a good job that deserves more then unjust fp 🙂
Votado! 😁

@Green4x: Yes, in most cases as its a product the universal market rule is valid, but no company can punish people who criticize their product. Imagine the example of a store that don't sell products to people that rank their products with less than 3 stars, this is discrimination on its most pure form. There are some rules that are more important than liberalism itself, like freedom of speech, freedom of religion... The companies shall respect this rules in order to even be in the market
@SenhorCaotico: Jogo eRep a bastante tempo e isso me ensinou que os admins não tão nem ai com a opinião dos players, pergunta pra qualquer veterano 🙂
Boa, votado!

Your disclaimer doesn't matter. Since erepublik is a privately owned company/website, it is their property to use in whatever way they choose. Read your terms of service.
SpellCat, uma coisa é você reclamar de um produto na porta da fábrica ou da sede da empresa, outra é você entrar lá pra ficar reclamando.
😉
@SnuckDogg: Thx, fixed 😃

The Universal Declaration of Human Rights presented by the UN has no binding power.
You have the right to express your opinion BUT (this is a huge but) this game has its own rules made by its creators. By creating your account you are ACCEPTING their terms of use and they could be related to you as BINDING. So if it is said "We are the high authority and we could censor your opinion (in the game) whenever we like" you have to carry out the consequence of playing this game.
P.S. If my comment seems negative, I am sorry. I tried to be informative.
P.P.S. And true... the Admins are acting a bit childish
@MilkovCorp: No, actually they cant, contracts cant go against the law. In a contract you can create any term you want, unless the term go against the law or is too unfair to the consumer (leonine term).
