Hello everbody! Its Blue and Black, your soon to be favorite journalist in eRepublik. Today i have a great article for you. I have 2 guests today, MattrimCauthon from eBulgaria and Walpole from eTurkey. I talked with them (seperately) about " recent history and todays relationships of eTurkey and eBulgaria".

What happened? Whats going on? and a little bit of prophecy about; "what will happen between this two powers?" keep reading and you'll know.



In the red corner we have; the journalist, the politician, the ex commander of the turkish air force, the professor of eRepulik economy, a jack of all trades "Walpole"

And in the other side of the article we have; a true dictator, president of eBulgaria, a mad dog, the infamous MattrimCauthon

Lets get started with the introducings; who are they? what they did till now?

With their own words, lets get to know them.

Firs The president of eBulgaria;

Well, in real life I am a IT engineer working in a big coorporation. Metalhead and all that, In erep I am Perrin or Mattrin . I love wars , real ones. My gretest achievement for me is the wars in 2015 /2016
Name is Georgi btw like half of BG.

I have been in 3 parties. Until 2 years ago it did not matter to me in what party I am. Now I am in BDP , Bulgarian Democratic Party. I do not believe in democracy in real life but the ppl in that party are my RL friends soo yah

Now who is Walpole and his background;

I am Walpole, the magnifique! I have been playing this game for over 7 years. I remember the times we all had 25 ff per person, 400 people gathering in IRC channel for battle operations, fierce and hours-long debates/fights in the congress, pretty much all ups and downs in eTr history and much more. In a sense, though there are many players around who came here earlier than me, I feel like I am the mummy of Ramesses II, still walking, kicking, sticking, disturbing, warning, advising, manipulating and hopefully helping around. I am enjoying every bit of it.

As a journalist, my political life started in very early stages of my gaming life and continued till now without any interruption. My first achievement was to reveal funds being evaporated in Central bank, which was under Lazokrasi control at the time. As a result, Central bank was brought back under state control, office of an independent Central bank Chairman was created, books of the bank have become transparent. Since then, we have not witnessed any Central Bank related fraud. I am quite proud of it.

As a formal politician, my political life started in RSP (Radical Left Party), I became MP. I was instrumental in forming RSP+UDP coalition, which brought down Turkuaz government, and brought up Sivas Team to power. Then I was kicked out of RSP, because I moved them toward “right wing”, or something. Then I joined UDP, became MP one more time, became the chairman of the party too. Then, I left the party by accusing them they turn into new Turkuaz and became corrupt. Since then till 7-8 months ago, I stayed out of politics in formal sense. I have been in the congress for past 7-8 months now. I am still waiting for someone to kick me out. 😛

Before the main dish i had to warm them up a little bit.

What was the Hardest, thoughest and the most challenging events and missions in their eLife as commanders and politicians;

The hardest time was when I was a unnoficial CP in 2014. From then for some time I had major vote and weight in Aurora. And that was a mess. For months I tried to make Turkey even send us MPP. We were all Anti Asteria. Many people forgot that. This is hard REALLY HARD. Losing , Croatia doing NOTHING .. huge mess.

Walpole;

I passed the duty of commanding Gokturk to ShooterTR about 2 weeks ago.

Till I came to GokTurk as commander 6 motnhs ago, I didn’t command any army bigger than 10 people in it. Yes, it was scary. Friendly speaking, I was expecting lots of crisis moments. My fears were in vain. I did not experience any crisis. Not because I was a perfect commander. I was not. But, I believe I managed to convince Gokturk aviators about my sincerity and fairness in discharging my duties as well as I can. That made them more sympathetic to my mistakes and shortcomings.


Life is not allways a bad story we have some good moments too. Now what was their most rewarding and proudest moments;

after that mess we became neutral and after a few months in the summer the big Greek MKD BG war came. Greeks were at the hight of their power but we refused to give up. The most rewarding thing was in the end of this war we managed to get 3 way nap GR-BG MKD so MKD could be free. That war promted me to go further and further to Asteria

Walpole;

As for the proudest moment… I would say: Now. 6 months ago, when I was assigned to GokTurk, the army had ~3 million dmg per week. eTr’s total aerial dmg was ~20 million. Now, GokTurk’s weekly aerial dmg is at around 25 million, which makes us 2nd most powerful air force in the eWorld. And, eTr’s weekly aerial dmg is now over 40 million, more than double with respect to that in 6 months ago.

There is still a large room to improve. And I have full confidence that under ShooterTr’s commandership, we will raise Gokturk as well as eTR as whole to much higher altitudes.
Enough warm up questions. Now we have real questions, the reasons why i made this interviews. Here i present to you " 3 and a half reasons why? ".

First reason why?; What are their opinions about the other country and the government that ruling it;

You (he means eTurkey) managed to become a power again. We know that you are not weak and this makes things even more intersting for me. We eBG think that much of your newfound strenght is due to KOlin . Last war with you was very intersting for me , and I regret that we signed a NAP back then.

Walpole;

Many will not believe what I am about to say, but I will say it anyway: I like Bulgurs(he means eBulgarians). In many sense, they remind me of old eTr with all its faults, strength and excitement. There are many in the echelons of eBg administration whom I deeply respect and admire. There are some whom I rightly despise. I see eBg as a country of great potential, which has been being wasted for years on a cascade of bad major decisions. In one of Game of Thrones episode, Lord Varys tells Tyrion that “A very small man can cast a very large shadow”, In the case of eBg, unfortunately, a giant is casting a very small shadow. I am anxiously waiting for a change to come, and all the magnificently spectacular things which will come alongside.

Second reason why?; Can you inform us a little about the recent and shared history of eTr and eBg? ( well i think i forgot to ask this question to mattrim - sorry about that- but he kinda talked about it in the previous answers)

Walpole;

First off all, at least during the last 7 years, we never became friends. We have always been in the opposing camps. We fought countless times in the battlefield. In appearance, sometimes they won. Sometimes we did. In substance though, both countries lost all the wars they waged between them.

True or tale, I don’t know, but they tell a story about an conversational exchange between Napoleon Bonaparte of France and Francis II of Austria during the peace conference after the French victory against Austria in the Battle of Austerlitz. Francis II complains about the financial terms of the deal and screams “We Austrians fight for honor. You French fight for money”. In return Napoleon reponds “All nations fight for things they lack”

In eTr vs. eBg wars, both countries always lose. Because, they have nothing to gain by defeating each other.. 🙂


Third reason why?; In the near future; what do you think the relationship of eBulgari and eTurkey will be like?

Still in their own words, let them speak.

The same? I tried being friends with you guys( he means eTurkish people) . Does not work (old Aurora -Sirius era). And now it is worse, one of the most hated ppl in eBG , KOlin supoorted ya. No way we can just forget this.

Walpole;

Once upon a time, eBg was in EDEN alliance. And eTr was a pro-ONE country, practically a satellite country with a mission of protecting the southern flank of the Serbian-led ONE by keeping eBg and Greece distracted.

Then we said no more, and became independent (which was the best ever decision ever made in eTr).

Sometime later, we approached to EDEN to be a member. That was the crucial moment to form friendly relations between eTr and eBg. And if it had happened, eRepublik history would have been totally different. eBg fanatically tried to block our membership for months. At the end, we became an EDEN member, and eBg left the alliance, and in time turned into a pro-Asteria country, a satellite responsible for securing the southern flank of the Serbian-led alliance. In short, eTr and eBg switched positions.

That was the best chance of forming good and friendly relations between two countries, and eBg blew it. They, we and the rest of the eWorld is still paying the price of that colossal judgemental error.

Is it possible to be friendly countries in the future? I would say, why not.

We have nothing to gain by fighting each other. We have a lot to gain by collaborating.

Smart choice is, of course, the latter.

But, as in the case of RL, most of the times pushing for smart choices requires lots of wisdom and courage.

And the bonus question(bonus reason why); " What do you think the outcome will be if the two countries declares war to each other?"

MattrimCauthon;

No idea. It depends on KOlin and the motivation. If we are 1 v1 , no other players, we will win. But otherwise no idea.

Walpole;

As I told earlier, neither country will be the winner of such a war. But, rest assured, they will lose a lot more than we will.

Hepinize merhaba güzide eTr'min muhteşem vatandaşları, En sevdiğiniz gazeteci yazar Blue and Black yine muhteşem bir makaleyle karşınızda.

"eTr ve eBulgur'un yakın geçmişi ve bugünü" başlığıyla; eBulgaristan başkanı MattrimCauthon ve eTr'mizin en kral adamlarından biri Walpole reisle röportaj yaptım. "İyi, BaB ve Çirkin" başlıyor efenim;



Kırmızı köşede; Büyük gazeteci, politik adam, eski hava kuvvetleri komutanımız, erepublik ekonomisi dalında nobel ödüllü, on parmağında on marifet; Walpole reis.

Öncelikle tanımayanlar vardır diyerekten kendilerini tanıtmalarını isteyerek başladım.

Kendileri ingilizce cevapladı, ben türkçeye çevirdim. Çeviride hata varsa uyarırsınız;

Gerçek hayatta büyük bi şirkete çalışan bir BT mühendisiyim. metalhead ( metal müzik dinliyo heralde)erepublikte perrin ya da mattrin. Şavaşları seviyorum, gerçek savaşları. oyundaki en büyük başarılarım 2015/2016 daki savaşlarımdır.

Şu ana kadar 3 partide bulundum. 2 yıl öncesine kadar hangi partide olduğumun bi önemi yoktu. şu an bdp'deyim ( demokratik bulgar partisi ) gerçek hayatta politikayla işim yok ama bdp'dekiler gerçek arkadaşlarım.

Ben muhteşem walpole. 7 yıldır bu oyunu oynuyorum. Kişi başı 25 ff'mizin olduğu, irc'de 400 kişiyle savaşa gittiğimiz, mecliste saatlerce tartışıp kavga ettiğimiz zamanları, eTr'nin inişli çıkışlı tarihinin neredeyse hepsini hatırlıyorum. Bi bakıma ( benden önce başlayan oyuncular olsada ) ikinci ramessesin mumyası gibi hissediyorum. Hala ayaktayım, savaşıyorum, insanları; rahatsız ediyorum, uyarıyorum, tecrübelerimi aktarıyorum, ve yardımcı olduğumu umuyorum. Son damlasına kadar tadını çıkarıyorum.

Gazeteci olarak politik hayatım oyun hayatımın en erken anlarından şu ana kadar kesintisiz bi şekilde devam etti. İlk başarım ise Lazoların merkez bankası dolandırıcılıklarını ortaya çıkarmak oldu. Sonuç olarak merkez bankası devlet kontrolüne geri alındı ve bağımsız devlet bankası başkanlığı oluşturuldu ve merkez bankası işlemleri şeffaf bir hal aldı. O günden beri de merkez bankasıyla ilgili bi dolandırıcılığa şahit olmadık, ki bundan baya gurur duyuyorum.

Normal bir politikacı olarak ise; politik hayatım RSP'de başladı ( radikal sol parti ) millet vekili seçildim. RSP+UDP koalisyonuna ön ayaklık ettim, ki bu da turkuaz hükümetini çökertebilmemizi sağladı ve sivas team'i güçlendirdi. ( kesin yanlış çevirdim burayı 😃) Daha sonra partiyi sağ kanada yaklaştırdığım için RSP'den atıldım. Ardından UDP'ye katıldım ve ordada millet vekili seçildim. Hatta parti başkanı bile oldum. Ama partinin yeni Turkuaz hükümetine dönüştüğünü gördüğümde UDP'den de ayrıldım. O zamandan, 7-8 ay öncesine kadar siyaset dışı kaldım. 7-8 aydır da millet vekiliyim. Hala birinin beni kovmasını bekliyorum 😛

Ana yemekten önce katılımcılarımızı biraz ısıtmam gerekti.

" Oyun hayatınızdaki en zor ve en güç anlarınız nelerdi?"

En zor zamanım; 2014'de gayri resmi başkanlık yaptığım zamandı. O zamanlar Aurora'da sağlam oyun ve ağırlığım vardı. Çok kötüydü. Aylarca eTr den Mpp bekledim. Hepimiz anti-Asteria'ydık. Çoğu kişi önemsemiyordu. Zordu, çok zordu. Kaybediyorduk, hırvat bişey yapmıyordu. acaip kötüydü.

Walpole;

2 hafta önce Göktür komutanlığını ShooterTR'ye devrettim.
6 ay önce Göktürk'e komutan olmadan evvel 10 kişiden fazla bi orduda komutanlık tecrübem olmamıştı. Korkutucuydu biraz. Açık konuşayım; acaip krizlerle uğraşmayı bekliyodum ama korkularım boş çıktı. Tek bir kriz bile yaşamadık. Tabi bu benim muhteşem komutanlığımdan olan birşey değildi, zira muhteşem bir komutan değilim. Ama pilotlarımıza görevlerimi yapabildiğim kadar adil ve içten yapmaya çalıştığımı gösterebildiğime inanıyorum. Bu da onların hatalarımı görmezden gelmelerine yol açtı.

Şimdi de en gurur verici anları;

2014 deki olayların ardından tarafsız olduk. Bir kaç ay sonraysa büyük yunan, makedonya, bulgaristan savaşı başladı. Yunanlılar güçlerinin zirvesindeydi ama biz yenilmeyi kabul etmedik. En gurur duyduğum şey o savaşın sonunda imzaladığımız 3 taraflı yunan-bulgar-makedon NAP'ı ve makedonyanın özgürlüğüne kavuşması.

Walpole;

En gurur duyduğum an; 6 ay öncesinde göktürk'e komutan olarak atandığımda göktürkün toplam damage'i haftada 3 milyondu, eTr'nin toplam damage'i ise 20 milyon civarındaydı. Şimdi haftada 25 milyon vuruyoruz ve bu da bizi oyunun en güçlü ikinci hava ordusu yapıyor. eTr'nin toplam haftalık damage'i ise 40 milyonun üzerinde şimdi, 6 ay öncesinin 2 katından fazlası.

Hala acaip potansiyelimiz var. Shooter'ın kanatları altında Göktürk'ün ve eTr'nin hava gücünün daha da büyüyeceğine inanıyorum.

"Diğer ülke ve ülke yönetimi hakkında ne düşünüyorsunuz?"

Siz türkler tekrardan bir güç olmayı başardınız. Güçsüz olmadığınızı biliyoruz ve bunu işleri benim için daha da ilginç hale getiriyor. eBg olarak yeni gücünüzün büyük bir kısmının Kolin'le bağlantılı olduğunu düşünüyoruz. Son savaş benim için çok enteresandı ve NAP imzaladığımıza pişmanım.

Walpole;

Birçoğunuz şimdi diyeceklerime inanmayacaksınız ama yine de söyleyeceğim. Bulgurları seviyorum. Bir çok yönden ( hataları, güçleri ve heyecanları ) bana eski eTr'yi hatırlatıyorlar. eBulgur yönetiminde derinden saygı duyduğum çok insan var. Beğenmediklerim de var. eBg de yıllardır kocaman hatalarla boşa harcanmış büyük bir potansiyel görüyorum. Game of Thrones'un bir bölümünde Lord vary, Tyrion'a der ki" çok küçük bir adamın devasa bir gölgesi olabilir", eBg'nin durumunda ise bir dev çok küçük bir gölgeye sahip. eBg de acaip düper şeyleri yanında getirecek büyük bir değişimi hasretle bekliyorum.

"Bizleri eTr ve eBg'nin yakın tarihinden ve şu anki ilişkilerinden biraz bahseder misin?" ( bunu matrimm'e sormayı unutmuşum, ama zaten önceki sorularda biraz bahsetmişti.)

Walpole;

Her şeyden önce; son yedi yılda hiç dost olmadık. Hep rakip takımlardaydık. Sayısız savaşta birbirimizle savaştık. Bazen yendik, bazen yenildik.Ama günün sonunda iki ülke de kaybetti.

Napolyon kendisine " biz avusturyalılar şerefimiz için savaşırız siz fransızlar para için savaşırsınız" diyen ikinci fransize; " herkes neyi eksikse onun için savaşır" demiş ( walpole baya uzun anlatmış bunu aq)

eTr ve bulgur savaşlarında ise iki tarafta kaybetti. Çünkü birbirimizi yenmiş olmaktan başka bi kazancımız yoktu.

Son soru; " Sizce yakın gelecekte tr-bulgur ilişkileri nasıl olur?"

MattrimCauthon;

Aynı? Sizle dost olmaya çalıştım ama olmadı. ( eski Aurora-sirius zamanları) şimdi ise daha da kötü. eBg'deki en sevilmeyen adamlardan biri Kolin sizi destekledi, Bunu öylece unutamayız.

Walpole;

Bir zamanlar bulgur EDEN'de idi, eTr ise pro-ONE ülkesiydi, kısaca bulgar ve yunanı sırp yönetimindeki ONE ittifağından uzak tutmakla görevli bir uydu ülkeydi.

Sonra bu gidişe bi dur dedik.ve bağımsızlığımızı kazandık ( Şu ana kadar eTr'nin verdiği en iyi karar)

Bi süre sonra EDEN'le yakınlaştık ve üye olduk. eTr ve bulgur arasında kurulabilecek dosluk bağı için en uygun zamandı. Öyle bir dostluk bağı kurulsa erepublik tarihi çok daaha farklı olurdu.Bulgur bizim EDEN üyesi olmamamız için elinden geleni yaptı. Ama sonuçta üye olduk ve Bulgur EDEN'i terk etti.Ve zamanla sırp yönetimindeki Asterianın güneyini korumakla görevli bir pro-Asteria ülkesi haline geldi. Kısacası eTr ve Bulgur yer değiştirmiş oldu.

İki ülke arasında dostluk bağı kurmak için en uygun zamandı ve Bulgur içine sıçtı. Onlar, biz ve eDünyanın geri kalanı hala Bulgurun hatasının cezasını çekiyoruz.

Gelecekte dost olmak mümkün müdür? Neden olmasın?

Birbirimizle savaşarak elde edebileceğimiz bir şey yok ama iş birliği yapabilirsek çok şey kazanırız.

Tabi gerçek hayatta da olduğu gibi; akıllı seçimler büyük bilgelik gerektiriyor.


Bonus soru; " Şu an eTr ve bulgur savaşa tutuşsa, sizce sonuç nasıl olur?"

Bilmiyorum KOlin ve o anki motivasyonumuza bağlı. Eğer 1v1 olacaksa tabiki de biz yeneriz, ama öbür şekil, bilemiyorum.

Walpole;

önceden de söylediğim gibi; bu savaşın kazananı olmaz. Ama, emin olabilirsiniz ki; bi savaş durumunda onlar bizden çok daha fazlasını kaybeder.

Şimdilik bu kadar gençler. (saat kaç oldu aq. Walpole bi daha senle röportaj yaparsam iki olsun. öldüm lan çevir çevir, ne yazmışsın)
