♥ A Celtic Blessing On You All ♥
Grainne Ni Mhaille
Tonight was the Vernal Equinox. Traditionally, a time for the ancient Irish and Celtic tribes to focus upon equilibrium, and balance.
Tonight the hours of daylight and darkness become equal, and the birth of the Spring is heralded with ever-increasing light, fertility, and growth. Equinox Means "Equal Night".
Tonight, we honour the ancestors, and clear out the unwanted, unhealthy, unbalanced and unnecessary things in our (e)lives and move on to green pastures, new passions and fresh challenges.
Tonight, each warrior, poet, and lover in the tribes and clans put aside their differences, and cleanse their hearts and souls for the challenges to come.
Ní Neart go cur le Chéile.

Traditional Greeting to The Spring Equinox:
Glad Bringer of Brightness, HAIL !
Maiden of Grace, Lad of Laughter,
Gifts of vigour are returning,
Spring's surprise, rainbow's embrace,
Quickened be the heart within us,
Opened be our souls to grace
May the blessings be abiding,
Welcome be in every face.
Today, the sunrise illuminates the darkest chambers of the megalithic tomb at Knowth, and in Loughcrew, in Ireland. A powerful reminder of how our tribal ancestors knew the land and the heavens, and embraced it's power for themselves. Watch here:
Claim your own power, reach for your spirit, let it be alive in glory and love.
Feel your strength and wisdom eIreland.
There is no culture like ours.
There is no other love.
We are eIRISH.
Feel your blood boil, and your courage rise!
ROAR out !
You are the chosen ones.
Never forget it.
And to all of my international friends and foes, accept my Celtic Blessing for your own health and happiness, and ♥biglove♥ to all my brethren in THA.
Love and light to you all.

Go raibh maith agat, a Gráinne.
I love the significance of the two equinoxes and two solstices. I'm glad you share my affection for the momentous occasion. I particularly remember the connection Julius Caesar has to the Spring Equinox.

The intelligence and creativity of our so called "uneducated" ancestors is incredible. How someone can think that they were stupid and unintelligent just because they lived a long time ago is mind boggling. Actually, people back then had to be more creative and intelligent than modern people because they just could not flip a switch or hire a machine to get something done. They had to figure out a way to do it themselves. Great article.
Sounds a bit like witchcraft
All good though
Witches are mostly beneficent, Sarge.
Needs more Ginge, otherwise pretty awesome... 😃

Tá súil agam go mbeidh tú anseo ar feadh cúpla mí arís?
This is likely the best article I've ever read. A meaningful subject, a call for honored heritage, balance, and...it's horribly fitting, wouldn't you say, dear Grainne?
People called our ancestors barbarians, but as has been documented, the old Irish and Celtic tribes were incrdibly intelligent, resourceful, and astoundingly creative. Warriors, poets, and artisans.
Vote & sub! Like your article anam chara 😉
