Why was company upgrade discounts cancelled

Ok I have been gathering gold at 10 gold a day and some days at 50 gold a day since about the middle of the resource wars about the middle of June.

To upgrade my 1 Q5 Weps factory situated in Idaho to a Q7 factory. I figured out from earlier discounts it would cost me about 440 gold or +- that amount. I went past that amount and went as high as the non discount upgrade would cost me 850 gold.

No matter what lies eRepublik spew and I'm going to quote them verbatim:

Furthermore this issue has now been raised by gudzwabofer and me on 2 succesive months on the main forum.

As you can remember the company upgrade discounts always came out with TG Upgrades.

For the second month in a row this has not occurred.

And this may even have been going on for nearly 90 days now as you can see from this pic this is my build up funds:



I got the cash with the last Maverick pack roll out and about 60 k about 10 days before that . Before that time i hardly bought 10 gold a day since the wrm market crashed.

I furthermore bought a Q4 Wep factory for about 162 gold. Now if the TG Upgrade rolls out i would be able to upgrade for about 900 gold . Without it it will cost me about 1900 gold and a further 100 days.

You would remember that they said that they with the upgrades would set right a historical inaccuracy.

Now it is so that if there is regular upgrades the whole sales market of companies is a bit skewed. In short with the upgrade which amounts to 40% of the normal price one can buy a factory for far less than a player can sell it. Therefore their company market is flawed. In effect there is no market for the companies of others except the base company or the Q1 company.

Therefore either we will get the upgrades in future 3 or 4 times a year since 90 / 365 = 24 % and only 31 days from a third of the year gone. or we wont get it at all.

Which is it eRepublik most of us are reasonably intelligent (i assume) so stock answers like

Regarding company discounts, please do tell me where exactly is it stated that the discounts appear regularly on certain dates? Any special offer can appear at any time for any length of time. There are no rules about how often an offer appears or whether it will or will not appear - Gucio(from the public forum)

is starting to seem more and more like a lie considering that we used to get the discounts atleast once a month there was users that even mentioned specific dates. Secondly it used to roll out with TG Upgrade discounts and have not for 2 months.

Therefore my only conclusion is that these discounts are deliberately blocked or permanently cancelled.

Im tired of logging in each day and not receiving these discounts. For bigger producers a 2 months delay in planned events( ie i planned my strategy for gold gathering around the discount )is simply unacceptable.

be honest and if your provide me again with a stock standard company sanctioned generic answer I will travel to romania/ireland and go and push that answer where the sun dont shine.

If you want to drop it lower the prices of upgrades so we atleast have a permanent advantage. AND ANNOUNCE IT FOR VARK STEAKS.
