Where did we go wrong?

Day 3,233, 14:18 Published in Cyprus Cyprus by TheSymbolist

Alright I am writing this article to criticize our latest actions as Cyprus in the field of strategy. That being said, I do not doubt at any point, that everyone's intentions were the best for Cyprus and not self-benefits. This is only about strategy.

Now, Greece and Turkey was being attacked from all sides. I agree we had to act. If we were passive they would have for sure knocked our door and made a NE front, which is a major no-no for us, given that our damage relies mostly on heavy tank spikes that go on for a few fights.

But what could we do?

I have to say the airstrike was doomed before it even begun, I never said anything because I don't believe in dividing public opinion before an operation, if as a community we decide to do something we all work towards it even if we disagree.

So since our brothers in Chile and Thailand were preparing an AS, how could we disagree?

Here's the idea on what we could have done, for the future military planner of Cyprus.

We could have waited a bit . Yes, yes we could, think of it like this:

Thailand and Chile are ready to AS at any time, we as Cyprus, wait for the first one of the enemies to border us (it wouldn't take more than 2 days since GR is attacked by 3 countries). The moment we get borders, we declare a NE (and keep the AS money and food for CO), and our brothers in Thai and Chile propose AS.

Here's the idea!

All 3 fights begin together, prime-time of the Americas, we attack Aegean Islands. At the same time, Thai attacks Macedonia (the region of course) and Chile lands on the Ioanian Islands.

What do we get? Our allies land on non core areas, that the enemy is likely to fight less hard for and is unable to RW them. Then we proceed with Thai NE on FYROM and Chile on Serbia, Greece holds on and we try to march for one more battle, assisting the attacks of our allies.

Would it have succeeded? Not sure, but I believe it is a far more solid plan than our current.

What do we do now?

If attacked, not much, we can maybe try to get new players through portraying the image of revolutionary warriors?

A very good move for us is to help our brothers in Chile solidify their alliance with their new allies in Adriatica and Syndicate.

What do you guys think?
