Well, the party president elections are over and currently in the process of being checked by Plato, but it looks as the the eUK's ATO measures in PTOing New Era was successful without any other party being taken over.
In many ways, the whole affair was a victory for the eUK in so far that it will be harder for NE to import more Serbian PTOers this month. Of course, care must be taken come the next congress elections for the leaders of the top five parties to make sure that no NE-Serbian plants get a seat.
Thumbs up should be given to all of those who participated.
However, it many ways, this month also represents a kind of defeat. A defeat in the context that it really became necessary. New Era has always acted outside the spirit of the game in some of their actions to try and become the rulers. The whole TACO election fixing plan was one thing, but activity participating in a foreign PTO of your own country is several miles over that line. There were those who said the PTO of NE should have happened last month, but there were those who wanted to "er" on the side of caution and gave NE the opportunity to stop importing Serbians before it was too late. Obviously this didn't stop and the action became necessary.
So yes, the eUK community was successful in removing the cancerous head from NE this month, but this wasn't really a victory and should not be treated as such. Sure, the eUK community should give itself a pat on the back for its ability to unite for the common good, but gloating is somewhat inappropriate.
For the common member of New Era, this month's actions needs to be seen as a liberation that was planned and not seen as an invasion as I am sure the likes of BA and Dapper will try to imply. It might be necessary to do this again next month and it will be important for those in NE to appreciate the reasons why it was necessary and not see the wider community as an invading enemy.

All winners were democratically elected, dictatorship doesn't work within the game mechanics. Just saying.

Really? Were you coerced to vote in a way you didn't want to? Were you prevented from voting? Was anyone else other than the multis that were removed? How then, was this election not democratic. The voters have spoken. You may not like it, but you can't say it is undemocratic.

Turks, Poles, Pakistanis, Albanians have spoken, unfortunately.
It may have escaped your notice, but these people were let in by CMs from multiple parties, as opposed to the Serbs who were let in by a single party. They represent only a small percentage of the total votes. Most of those who voted ATO were already in the eUK. Woldy alone got more votes than the number of new citizens you show in your screen shots.

Nobody is saying that New Era is wrong with what they are saying, we should have had a vote on alliances etc. but its the manner they went about whining it and taking action via PTO that ruined any chance of getting normal players on their side.

DC had nothing to do with it Don was on the ATO all day, You imported over 30/40 voters, you gave Don what he wanted. You couldn't do it without outside help, the game is just beginning, watch this space.

No silly you lost remember, so it was a massive victory for the eUK and democracy. It was a massive defeat for tin-pot dictators, traitors, liars and scum bags......
eUK needs a treaty that will end the civil war, this is but the first of many battles. it is difficult to say if either side can even win

What is it then cause it looks like one to me
Politics.
It is hard not to see the PTO of New Era as an invasion simply because it is.
The question that is never answered is that if New Era's actions are so abhorrent, then why are they still the 2nd largest party in the UK? The answer is simple really - the sentiments NE express and actions must have enough approval to be a valid view. If the NE membership disagree, then they would elect other leaders. If UK foreign policy was properly discussed then the issues would come up in congress (oh, wait, NE are banned from Congress too). You cannot try to build a united nation by marginalising views you do not like.
I can only conclude that this is yet another brick in the wall to exclude a significant part of our community. Walls take longer to break down than build. So far all I see is building.
