And yet, she completely discounts the exact same argument from me. That double standard does not sit well with me. Her economic arguments have always been to keep me producing at constant losses, while she was allowed to make guaranteed profit for investing in the country as she saw fit. Clearly her judgement can be trusted... mine is not. I am not connected to her network of friends. I would hope we could all be treated as equals, but I am obviously less equal than her (and a few others).

I KNOW I have proven myself to reinvest all profit I make back into the eIrish people, and not myself. That cannot be said for other eIrish businessmen that are given access to "the system."

Even as CP, I will not ask for state org access, I do not want state org access. I have no desire to allow even the slightest compromise of our security to be any fault of mine. Even if I did ask, I do not think I would be trusted with bank access.

In the end I think the main reason I will never be truly accepted by the powers that be in eIreland is because I do not comply with some antiquated requirement to be on IRC. The metagame is a necessary evil. It's just a shame that it is reason enough to alienate and disenfranchise good players.

I'm actually in the process of writing a piece about the Army supply infrastructure, as I hinted at in my previous IA update.. got a few remarks about this brainfart of an article:

*No disrespect to Bhane, but speaking as a matter of fact, hes not a reliable source on the IA infrastructure; hes never had reason to be involved at the established operator level, hence does not have the detailed knowledge which come with the job (..Captain Obvious here). I believe its a perfectly fair remark to say in every instance Bhane has inferred an analysis of the Army infrastructure, its more been about the fundamental issues of a government-endorsed/managed supply structure rather than accurate reporting of procedural mechanisms (which he and yourself, given my first remark about operator knowledge, have yet to produce.. hence my upcoming report).

*When Nogin graciously allowed the Army to use her companies, she would provide WRM from her own production at a reduced cost than the market. Essentially, opt'd for a reduced income, in order to provide a greater bang for buck for the soldiers. Similarly, our current manager James Keiller donates much of his production to the supply lines. At the operator level, they deal in WRM markets, which are quite fluid - there is no room for profiteering among the operators 1) this article isn't how it works and 2) these player in volunteering use of their companies are voluntarily reducing their income potential. The fundamental issues at the operator level more to do with the operator having a guaranteed WRM buyer, but as said, not really creditable complaint given how fluid RM markets are.

*Unless you are arguing from the ideological view against the use of communes, when it comes to the unique situation of a State supply system, the fundamentals to focus on are the activities of the managers who receive the production (i.e. government), not the operators.

And obviously, this isn't mentioning the amount of spot donations we get from members, non-members, operators, governments etc.

You want some journalist criticism? When you build a report off sources, make sure your sources are competent in your paper's topic. The feck you asking Bhane about the Army infrastructure for? I'm sure Bhane will be interested in the report, but hes probably in the dark as much as you. To be honest, its not a procedure which is suppressed from public knowledge, just not anything worth explaining until there is a problem - hence my report.

And i always forwarded the full amount of weapons that were made, i never deducted any weapons as suggested either, in fact the IA was running at a profit every day, with appleman selling on the surplus weapons the communes made.

Nogin is one of the most respected people here because even though she's made a shit ton of e-money, she's always gave back to where she thought it would help Ireland the most. She helped out boot camp iirc, she helped IA, she gave ICA it's first ever company to help get things started. She's good at the economic side of the game and that's not a crime. She's generous with what she has. She's respected by p much every type of person from all sides here.
