Plato's captcha is too good

Day 5,666, 03:44 Published in Poland Lithuania by Inquisitor Darius

Hello amigos and amigas, przyjaciele and przyjaciółki, lords and plebs, you are greeted by me - the emperor of this universe Inquisitor Darius.

Today I just want to have an open discussion about a question that has been bugging me for a while -
Why in god's everloving world did Erepublik decide it would be a great idea if the worst imaginable UI/UX designer could make the captcha system?

"Oh damn, we need to add difficulty to captcha? I gotchu fam, I will just flip how the prompt and target image are shown."
"Haha of course you don't need to worry about moving the input area don't be ridiculous."

"Oh you silly goose, OF COURSE the players won't mind having to find and click 9 symbols, they LOVE it, especially on mobile!"

"What is 'accessibility standards?' Is that some new LGBT stuff? No, never heard of it."
"Ooooooh, designing things to be accessible to visually impaired, lol, imagine being a visually impaired scrub. Couldn't be me."
"Anyway, if the image is too dark or too light I will just invert icon colors XDDDDD"

"We need to add more difficulty? Jeez ok, I will just rotate the 73 icons we generate, anyone who can develop a bot to recognize images will SURELY not be able to account for image rotation. OUTSMARTED again."

Unbelievable accessibility update that came out 24 hours after the article was posted :

"These idiots can't figure out captcha? Ugh... Whatever, I'll just upsize the icons."
"Why would I check if they overlap, the player can just retry until they get a solvable one XDD"

P.S. Share your worst captcha moments in the comments.
P.S.S. Publikuję w Polsce, bo wszystko, co mamy na Litwie, to kilka botów rządu. 🙁
