Can VAT go any higher? (20% is max, right?)
On the bright side, there is nowhere to go but lower.
i think it can go higher who knows .. today its a 20% " to collect CAD " now with the lost probably they'll raise it to 25% or even 30% who knows , VAT did collect CAD , $60,000.00 CAD now is lost to nothing ! its time to lower this VAT and give Canadians a break ..

It is time.
The mandate for MOO congressmen will be to lower the VAT to 5% and keep income tax at 1%.
With MPPs costing 10,000 CAD each, I'm not sure now is the time to drop the VAT. I personally don't mind keeping taxes high in the name of stablizing our currency.
10,000 CAD = 100 gold at $100 per gold
10,000 CAD = 50 gold at $200 per gold
Crash the currency, just keep buying gold with the CAD that is collected.
