Thee Dude here, and I’m up on my soapbox today to tell you why you should join my favorite Political Party and a group of super cool people, The Rough Riders!

The Rough Riders have been content with our place in the Political Party rankings, but no longer! We are openly saying that we are coming for a spot in the Top 5. We are already heavily involved with the military side of things. Now we feel we’re ready for a bigger role in the political side. Which means Congress. Which means top 5. So expand we must. That’s where Ya’ll come into the picture. But since I don’t expect someone to join us without knowing a little about us, here’s a quick primer. Who we are, and what we believe in.
Almost six months ago now, some players who were looking for a new challenge, got together and formed a Political Party. The Rough Riders were born. This group included the likes of Herr Vootsman, Leroy Combs, TheNorm, Gonzo Veritas, Stormin Ewok, myself and others. Some were looking for a challenge, some just a change of scenery. Some a chance to create something new and make their own history. All are players who practice Leadership through service: service to the Country and service to our fellow players. It’s how we play the game and how we live our lives.

This belief in service as a form of leadership has allowed our members to have a tremendous impact on our Country. The more we have given of ourselves, the more the Country has come to rely on and trust us to shoulder much of the burden of running the Country. Our members serve the Country on a minute-by-minute, hour-by-hour basis. We are always looking out for our Country. Service is the goal.
If service is the goal, how do we get there? The Rough Riders practice six beliefs representing how we play this game. Let’s talk about them.

Country First means we put the eUSAs interest and wellbeing ahead of our own. Ahead of our Political Party, Military Unit, and personal interest as well. This sometimes means making a personal sacrifice for the greater good. We’re cool with that.

Unity quite simply that. Of Country, of Parties, of Players. Not a cookie-cutter conformity, but common ground goals and a common cause. Serving the Country. We have had a form of a unity government for well over a year now, and it has served us well.

Allies We believe the eUSA to be a trustworthy and reliable friend to those who treat us in kind. This we do by actions, not words. We stand by our allies in Asteria through good times and bad. And we will continue to put the group’s needs above our own when necessary. It’s a global game, no one does it alone.

Decency is really about treating people with a certain level of respect. No need to be an ass just because you disagree with someone. It’s helping out people that need it because it’s the decent thing to do. No toxic party politics here.

Activity We are looking for people who are actively fighting, ranking, and leveling up their account. People who are or wish to be, active in Government and/or Congress. People who are active writers and want to contribute through Media. Or those who want to help, but don’t know how to. It doesn’t mean you need to be socially active, like chatting it up on our discord channel or posting to the party wall all the time. Although that is welcome too! We love a good conversation.

Winning is fun. We like winning. It’s a game, right? Might as well have fun.
Just about every PP or MU has some kind of supply program. Whether it’s food, weapons, housing, or even cash. The Rough Riders supply our members with all that and more. And more of it.
We have made a commitment to make sure that our members have what they need to serve our Country. Elite fighters need elite supplies, and The Rough Riders are always loaded for bear.

By serving our members, we help them serve the Country.


While I have never cared for aggressively recruiting members of other Political Parties, I’ll say this.
If you want to do more, but don’t have the resources.
