Indonesia invades Armenia: eIndo PM Says AG to Blame
DBCookie
No it's not a drill, no it's not a training war, Indonesia are attempting - to steal a phrase from a fellow citizen - to make Armenia great again.
Prime Minister of Armenia released this dispatch about an Indo airstrike.
https://www.erepublik.com/en/article/aggressor-bully-eindonesia-2746493/1/20
So the battle begins, how do the two countries shape up?
ARMENIA // RANK # 65 // POPULATION: 71 // AVERAGE LEVEL: 62
ELection Winner: J A M E S./The Left Party/76.19%/\16 votes
Vs
INDONESIA // RANK # 1 // POPULATION: 3,993 // AVERAGE LEVEL: 18
Election Winner: Gajah.Mada/UDELOE/41.35%/\86 votes
Hmm, I really doubt our TW partner is going to defend itself on their lonesome. I'm pretty sure this will definitely affect our training war though, how else is this affecting the global stage? What is the reason behind this seemingly unwarranted attack?
The PM of Armenia gives no definitive answer because it seems only Indonesia and their CP knows this. However he suggests that, simply because they are bigger and badder that Indonesia is throwing their weight around. Looking at the battlefield at the moment:
It doesn't seem to be going too well for the home team.
Goodluck FMailed, you'll need it.
It seems I can't stop writing about the nice folks at AG, but here they are again commenting on this war, and indeed it seems some members, former and current have been attempting to defend Armenia. Were they truly fleeing a toxic environment that they tried to warn us all about? There is many accusations and unverifiable insults being lobbied at the Indonesian administration, however what is clear is the Aussies are involved in the mix.
AUSTRALIA // RANK # 44 // POPULATION: 180 // AVERAGE LEVEL: 45
Election Winner: Lawkee /The Imperial Party /100%/\20 VOTES
With AG members directly linking to Lawkee's articles about their rival Maxdi.
https://www.erepublik.com/en/article/-id-en-maxdi-ck-v2--2745403/1/20
Lawkee even went the effort to get a decent translation of his article. What's most interesting about this are the comments below. Such as this explanation of past AG/Maxdi tensions. No explanation as to the war with Armenia that I can see yet though, perhaps the President of Indonesia if they are reading this, would like to comment?
Bottom two comments have been translated (take with a pinch of salt)
The Australian leader has announced an open borders policy, perhaps anticipating some refugees from Armenia? Or maybe some more Indonesian exiles? Is there a new global conflict shaping up on the horizon? This sleazy journalist hopes so, I'll have plenty to write about.

It doesn't seem that Japan is too involved, but their flag is accompanying Indonesia on the war stats, so here's their stats:
JAPAN // RANK # 41 // POPULATION: 183 // AVERAGE LEVEL: 100
Election Winner: Masaharu Homma/Jinmin Sensen/73.33%/\44 votes
Japan seems too busy with Empress Day Elections. If you aren't feeling like joining the constant stream of epic battles in Armenia, head over to Japan, weeb out and vote for your favourite waifu, I mean Empress.

They have recently started a training war with Poland

And they have a politico advocating for socialism:

A very interesting country worth a visit, now that you'll have some free time after Armenia can't come out to play with us.
BREAKING
It was epic battle after epic battle, once eArmenia was made aware of the attack it hit back hard. It seems the element of surprise worked to eIndonesia's favour as the early advantage from their shock attack proved too much to beat. Bravely though, the defending forces and rallied allies made their attackers fight tooth and nail for every point. Maxdi, AG's nemesis even had to slum it in division 1 to make sure the victory was clinched.
This article published in eArmenia claims that this entire war has started due to Armada Garuda.
https://www.erepublik.com/en/article/indonesia-just-want-to-get-rid-of-the-mercenaries-the-real-bullies--2746507/1/20
The Prime Minister of eIndonesia publishing an article in eArmenia? Propaganda? Madness? A casus belli after the fact? Crip, the Prime Minister, claims that the government has tried to contact this group countless times, that they have disrupted government plans multiple times.
So an entire country went to war against another, simply for harbouring a group of mercenaries, and didn't bother to tell anyone till after it was done? I don't know what to believe, perhaps I was wrong in my suspicions of AG, perhaps I do not know the half of it. Put on your tin foil hat for a moment..
What if AG are merely pawns in a game of governments? Are they being used willingly? Is the entire purpose of their existence to give the eIndonesian government an excuse to go to war? I'd like to think so - it'd mean I could sell more papers.
Looks like this storyline isn't over yet, let us hope it doesn't spill over into the eUK.
I don't believe the eUK has a mercenary group, if anyone would care to correct me? Perhaps I should start my own, the drama alone would be worth its weight in articles.
This publication denies any culpability in international incidents

Greetings from eArmenia 🙂
Hope your country doesn't suffer too much from this attack, well wishes from the eUK - this is a shock to us all.
I can confirm Japan was not consulted.
Thank you for the clarification, eJapan seems to be a flourishing country, I hope you enjoy the festivities.
I love it cookie
Thanks Camat, hope all's well
I love it when huey is not running out of MoFA candidates
nice article..
Thanks Noel, looks like your AG buddies really needed a safe harbour after all, seems the eUK dodged an eIndonesian airstrike shaped bullet though.
Excellent article. Very informative for people like moi.
Updated info, seems more layers to be unfolded yet, thanks for the comment
Greeting from Switzerland...
AS law to eArmenia is suddenly proposed by eIndonesian law maker at (maxdi side) without any internally communication between Gov, Cong and MU.
Real intention of this AS still dark for us, eventhough at eIndonesian PM (krip's article) said this AS is to retaliate member's of AG, for us its just another nonsense excuse for their action.
Yes I do not believe we will uncover the full story until it has all played out, thanks for your contribution.
We could have been directly involved but as we turned group acceptance down maybe now indirectly.
Amada Garuda is here but not necessarily disruptive.
Awaiting any further developments.
V + c + e
Yes, even though AG have been nothing but polite, some congress said this would happen and I am shocked to see them proven right. Hopefully developments occur soon and reveal a full picture as to what is going on, it does seem AG are on the run and eIndo does not care who protects them.
Thanks for the comment as well, quite a confusing story that is unfolding
Great article ! o7 VCSE
are you a real article writer IRL ?
Thanks for the compliments but no I'm not, I'd have been sued by now if I was.
Nice article, keep up the good work o7
FYI, that's not how you measure the power of countries.
You should count how many high ranked fighters are there (how many legends++ in land and how many GC++ in air)
Appreciate the advice, but I understand, I was just doing statistics for quickness. You do get a sense of if there are more noobs or elites from the average however. I'll endeavour to give more accurate strength assessments next time an international war breaks out though. Thanks again.
I just want to confirm, what Jarl said in that screenshot is true
Not only that
As you know, Indonesia is a neutral country
But they (AG) sold damage and get into multiple conflicts in the eworld depending on who pays the most.
They even fight against Indonesia's partner just a few days after Indo get help from them and of course the Indonesian government is affected by their actions
I was Indo CP when both Asteria and Code contact me asking who paid them
Of course I don't know
And for eUK, eSwiss and eArmenia citizen
Did you ever ask them why they move to your country?
Why there is UK and Swiss TW in Armenia region?
And this MU
https://www.erepublik.com/en/military/military-unit/7248/overview
Why do you think they created it in UK?
Who made it?
If you check UK leaderboard 2 weeks ago
Only 1 player who give hit
https://www.erepublik.com/en/citizen/profile/9053546
Who is this guy? Of course he is not the one who create the MU because his Citizenship
Is he a real player? Or just a multi? I don't know
So, who made it?
Did you guys ever asking this?
Thank you all information provided, I will not divulge specifics of my time in congress - however I can say the MU was going through a vetting process. In hindsight, speaking from my own opinion and with the info you provided, taking AG at their best intent; a player simply got too excited. One player just created an MU in the eUK while applications were still being processed and this soured the whole thing. Couple with pressure from eIndonesia and nobody seeming to fight AG's case, you have seen that AG have not made their home here.
As far as I can tell nobody has ever went to war against eIndonesia for AG's actions, only eIndo have airstriked eArmenia for the supposed actions of AG. If eArmenia has been held accountable for mercenaries it just took in, why has their home nation of eIndonesia never been held accountable? If the eUK had taken in these mercenaries, this kindness would have been repaid in much the same way eArmenia's was - with fire and war. In this reporters opinion, which is taboo to give in proper journalism, the eIndonesian administration cannot have their cake and eat it.
The government claims to be going for AG, the aggressor and toxic group - yet AG only runs. Where AG runs to, its former government attempts to raze to the ground with no attempt at formal dialogue or diplomatic resolution. eUK and eArmenia are friendly and welcoming countries, we have shared a great cooperative partnership. To think that either of our kind citizens would be punished by a powerful nation, simply for trying to do the right thing is appalling.
This is now not just a reply to beebam, this is the publications final stance on the whole affair unless matters change.
Thank you for all comments and views

Good read
Thanks Mel, Glad you liked it.
Take the comment with pinch of wkwkwkw
Glad you enjoyed Camat
awesome, genuinely enjoying the read. neutral, unbiased, and objective. looking forward to the next article.
anyway, I could recommend a good source for international affair, a MOFA from the countries involved, perhaps?
Appreciate it, however reaching out to ministers at such a time for me would be a bad idea. While airstrikes are being given out I don't want to put myself on the list, and I don't want to jeopardise diplomatic discussions; so simply commenting on info available works best for me. Thanks though.
