Farewell, my friends! Erepublik doesn't want new players.

I just wanted to announce that even though I'm In love with this game and I think It's awesome, the game masters simply force new players like me to leave.
I wanna start with a brief introduction into my short journey in this:
I have played this years ago for like a week and completely forget about it. One day(8 august this year to be precise) I was looking for strategy games online when i bumped into erepublik again. I created an account and immediately got hooked. After only two weeks I started buying packs and stuff like crazy. Some of the purchases were useless for a new player like me, but I didin't know what I was doing. I just fell in love with the game.
In a short time the romanian community invited me to their private chats and then I was simply addicted. Started to spend a lot of time in the game, spending money and really enjoying the experience.
I had to make a decision. While everybody was telling me "Buy an account, you can't do nothing with a new one" I decided to go with my own account and do as much as I can with my own freaking hands.
Everything was alright, I was finally starting to understand more and more about the game and I was simply hooked.
After a while someone told me about the "influence penalty on new accounts".
I was explained by some community members that erepublik did this to prevent players from creating bots and cheat to get an edge in the air rounds.
I was ok with that. I thought I just have to play for a little while so the staff can see I'm not a bot. I'VE NEVER BEEN SO WRONG.
Here's where all goes down the drain...
I wrote 3 tickets to the Support and the answers were disgusting:
The summary of the answers is: yes, you do have influence penalty because your account is created after a certain date and NO, we don't have any information about when or if your penalty will be lifted.
This article was already deleted once so i m not gonna post the pics again.if you're curious,leave me a message.
I covered id’s and names but still got deleted. NO FP or message yet on why.
I have now words after these responses, but I'm not going to invest any more money in a game that I'm not allowed TO COUNT!
Wanna know why this game is dying? It's not because the game sucks, It's not because the game is boring,it's not even because the idiotic system of strenght training and the huge gap that discourages new players to come in.
The reason is simple: The game developers just gave up on thi game.
They couldn't even provide with a certain date In which my influence penalty would be lifted. NOTHING.
What's left for a new player like me? Ground battles are a big NO NO and now I'm not allowed to count in air battles...
I love this game and I didn't wanted to leave. The community is awesome. I got helped a lot and many people wanted to spend a bit of their time to explain to me the game mechanics.
Unfortunately, the useless administrators decided that I shouldn't be allowed to play the game...
I will still be online until my last pack expires, which is in aproximatively 27 days(It's my way of saying "and i really loved this game") and then I'm off.
Farewell, my friends! It was a short but beautiful journey. 🙂

Erepublik admins needs to find a sustainable method on this instead if they really care about this game. They keep just putting out fires instead of fixing the problems causing issues.
People makes new accounts, lets ban ALL new players 🙁 We all know of players with 50+ multies who are still not banned.

To summarize what admins said without getting my article deleted again:
There is limit for players who created an account after a certain date(they didn’t say what date) and that they don’t know when the limitation will be lifted. All these info in 3tickets
they delete the articole cause it is not allowed to publish tickets, you didnt get banned for it because you spend money 🙂

Friend, don't give up, you are more than that stupid limit. You showed that limits don't exist. Honestly, I don't know about this limits and how they works, but try to continue your journey if you like it, gain experience, built your air rank and enjoy the game. I started 15 months ago, I was patient. They have to lift it one day and then you will be very important pilot. If you need any advice or just talk you can count on me as well o7
you're right. i registered on this game lots of years ago but I started to play it just in 2019. They don't want new players, that's clear. And that's a suicidal move. But they only care about taking the largest amount of money from the last years of life of this game.
Moreover, it is funny how they don't want bot players but if you buy an account (illegal in every game) everything is good.
It would be so easy to give a new life to this game...

I am a platinium member and stopped spending money for Plato 4 months ago.
If we all do the same, either they improve the game or they close it.
I will not spend a cent more if the situation don't change.

Summary: The game developers just gave up on ths game
I played in 2011 for a short time than I forgot about the game and came back in 2016. The decline even in the last three years was shocking. In 2017 I loved to play, 2018 was so-so, from 2019 I have no good experience at all. Your conclusion is right the admins gave up on the game. They had some weak attempts to improve the game but they gave up on all. Now they only care about draining money from the most addicted players.
The problem with this game is that it's not evolving.
So many, times we as a players are trying to fill that gap by creating programs to keep the interest in the game going. But we tired to try over and over to keep the people in the game.
We want a multidimensional game and not just a war game!
Like the game could upgrade the role of president and congress members by giving him many variables as well as having programs ready to distribute state revenue
So automatically get the new players the financial help. Like those who really fought for their country to be rewarded. And not we make alchemy about how we will share state revenue.
All this should enable us from the GM easily and effectively.
A simulation of reality.
Like war orders from the President in times of war.
No one can fight in a foreign country except for their own country when in war! So no one go for medals in others fights. Fight for your country and no for gold!
Anyway its so many and i dont see somethin good comming.
But still I would like to see a very good upgrade in the game from the company.

You can thank your fellow Romanians and your allies Serbs for that. They were the ones making hundreds of air bots and forced the admins to nurf new accounts..

At some point of time we all are getting there.
You won't leave.
If this got you disappointed enough to come to this conclusion, imagine how you'll feel a month from now. You might even resent the fact that you got back in here, and yet, blame yourself for continuing to play. Or you might be hooked with the rest of us, with a low-powered account.
A lot of us are hooked for some reason. Are we truly happy with how things go on in here? Many of us (probably most) are not. It's totally up to you if you really want to become one of us, but at least you have the luxury to stop way ahead of us. While I'd like for this game to take a serious turn for the better, I feel that the admins don't care or aren't capable enough to make it so.
It's hard for me to either encourage you to leave or stay, because I've seen too much of the dark side of this game, as well as the many little reasons that keep me here. But if you have better things to do, leaving this game early might very well be a good idea.

But hey, you can run in elections. You can become a really good manager, you can hire people to pay them for their work. You can create (I know you don't want to buy anything created by others 🙂 ) companies and produce goods. Be careful, you could use the work tickets to produce more products. Don't. You would create items with other's work you already paid for. 🙂)
But to be honest, you could wait for local government elections. Or wait for the perception training feature to be implemented. Or Q6 & Q7 houses (you could create a really freakin' kingdom 😉

i see that you've been playing for over 10 years so I'm not gonna argue about your game experience. The only thing is that my game experience was different. I really love it. The only thing that makes me leave it is the fact that my damage doesn't count as anybody else's damage.
You would have been a great addition to this game at that time. I wish I could exchange my eR life with yours, you sound like a cool guy. All the best out there.
