Hello. I’m writing again the stats of the month. The first graphic shows the amount of citizens of the world (above) and the USA (below) that I registered day by day in January.
In January the population was pretty low, but stable, till the Crypto Heist event announcement, in the last week. These are the detailed numbers of the month:
Total balance from 1st January (1121) to 31st January (1146) : +25 people
Balance in % : +2 % of population in a month
Top day: 31st January = 1146 people
Low day: 17th January = 1117 people
January mean = 1125 active citizens
The second graphic compares the American average monthly population calculated in more than four years of eRepublik history:

After some weeks where the eUSA population was stable around 3.3% of the worldwide population, in the last week it increased again to the 3.4%.
This is the graphic of the eUSA beginners:
The first four columns represent the monthly mean of the citizens registered in eUSA in 2019, 2020, 2021 and 2022. The other bars are the new American citizens of 2023 and 2024. The coloured bar represents the new registrations in a month, the different cap in every bar represents the citizenships approved by eUSA congress people.
In January there were 337 new registrations in eUSA, 141 of them on 27th January, the day of the Crypto Heist event announcement, but most of them are already banned now. This month the American Congress has accepted 9 citizenship requests. Welcome everyone!
The last graphic shows the eUSA election results:
Votes for presidents are blue, votes for congress are red, and the rest of light green bar represents the quantity of “active” citizens that did not casted a vote.
In January, 240 people of 1118 have voted for President, and 262 of 1135 have voted for Congress. In percentage the votes are 21 % and 23 % of the total eUSA population, practically the usual percentages.

I co-run the Free Beer MU, the one where new players are dropped if they click certain app or link of unknown origin.
every day, a new player or two or four... of course most die at Level 1 as expected.
here's the odd part-- most of my new soldiers have the names of businesses. everything from home sales to chiropractors and nail salons, that mysterious app or link is making the rounds of small businesses. the game profile is a business name, and they post a couple sentences and a link to their business. they have no intention of playing, and creating a character here is just five minutes of effort toward broadening their reach for free. I doubt any of them are yielding any benefit for their weak effort.
so there's one outside force that skews the New Player numbers.
at least those who join due to Crypto or other promotions will play a bit to try for the rewards, then quit and die.. I would like to know how effective those events are in generating players who stay.
p.s.: I like cupcakes.
Not so effective to really increase the game population, 2 months after every event the population number go back to the number before event. But I can say it's effective, at least, to not decrease peple: in the last year and half the population has never decreased less than before the first crypto event (November 2022).
Those are the SEO(Search Engine Optimization) guys probably. They get paid by posting the link of certain websites on other sites.
Another increase in accounts (multi's and Bots) during these horrible Crypto events. 30+ days after the Crypto events are over, the population decreases. Same as during EVERY other Crypto event.
