eTravels Series : eRoC (Taiwan)

Day 1,629, 08:32 Published in Republic of China (Taiwan) France by AlI Might
Hello everyone,

As everyone agree, the community is the point that makes us all stay here, I've been tired lately of some situation I was eLiving. And it came out in my head that I needed changes, I thought about eTraveling to meet new people, exchange with them, share culture and passions.

I first thought about visiting China, but I heard they are very strict when it concerns immigration. And as I really wanted to be deep in the community of the country I visit, I needed a country which would allow me to take a sit in their room and treat me as one of them. And a I remembered I made a promise to a good friend from eRoC "SORA Chung", I told him I would come in order to visit him and his country one day.
And here's how the story went on...

So, I followed the way to get the eRoC's CS, I contacted a few people, then got a interview with Veronica, it was normal, everything seemed to go well. Veronica told me once the ITW was done that it might take a few days before I get accpeted, it was in the morning.
5-6 hours later... I logged on eRep' and saw I was accepted, I was happy about it but I had to go out IRL. I wasn't aware of what was going while I was missing.

When I came back home, logged on, and then the awesomeness started.
Over 50 friends requests... Shouts everywhere from Taiwanese people welcoming me... Over 20 PM welcoming me.
I was really impressed, I mean I'm just a random french guy playing eRep', I'm not a VIP, maybe I'm a tank but I don't deserve such a welcome like this...

I really was impressed and then, a little gift appeared, that really touched me, I currently don't have the words to describe how touched I was...

The day after, I logged on IRC and connected to the Taiwan IRC's channel.
Again, a warm welcome was waiting for me, I met a lot of nice and kind people there. We shared a lot, the place where we live, what we do in real life, what are our hobbies, interests... I really enjoyed every talks I had with them.
They were thirsty of knowledges about how it goes in France, but also very glad that I came in eRoC to visit them.
So much gentle people, I'm still impressed, I got new friends now, all are awesome, ready to help, I'm really happy about it.

I'm really grateful to them for everything they done for me.

And, as I've been welcomed with a drawing from the dear Fly.yui who is a great person though, I wanted to draw something on my own too for my goodbye... But I just failed, the draw is horrible...

I did it with the mouse and I think I'm far from being an artist with it xD

Unfortunately, there was a language barrier, some don't know a word of english but they made the effort to use a translator, and that's impressive too, I really thank them for all the efforts they made for me.
I'm sorry to go on a hurry like this but my alliance needs me on the battlefield...

eRoC I thank you and be sure I'll come back, sooner or later.

Anyone willing to go on eVacation, note eRoC as one of the destination you should go to.

A word to SORA Chung who is the actual CP of eRoC now, as I told you, please take care of your eCountry and make sure to open it to more people because it's worth it at all point. Your a key of success in this country and probably one of those able to do this.

I thank WANG ZICK and his government for accepting me in eRoC.

Fly.yui, dear take care of you, keep drawing as you're used to, because you got a talent. You're awesome.

All my friends I talked with on IRC (won't say the names, I'm too afraid to forget some 😒 ) and in shouts, thank all, thanks eRoC for those awesome 2 weeks I spent with you...

Thank you one more time...
