Day 10 - Peace with Japan, region swaps with Taiwan

Hi South Korea,
Many have changed in the last 2 days from the military point of view, so here are the main news:
1) Peace with Japan
The land swap we had in plan with Japan did not succed. Japanese side decided in the middle of the swap that is cancelling the deal, because he got a better offer from USA. As a result, each country come back to its original territories. We are waiting for the Japanese presindent to send the peace proposal to be approved by our congress. However, untill that moment we are still with an open war and every 24 hours one battle must take place. We have won Chugoku again, but we will return it after.
2) Land swap with ROC (Taiwan)
The South Korean and Taiwanese presidents finalised a deal involving a land swap between the 2 countries. South Korea will offer 1 high grain region (Jeollabuk-do) while ROC - Taiwan wil offer in exchange 1 high fish region (Central Taiwan). This exchange would great help both countries economies. After the change will be made a peace proposal will be set.
Taking this into consideration, you will receive battle orders trough the newspaper of South Korean Dragons only when we need to win the battles, as a landswap involves deliberately losing some battles.

Region Swaps are always a bad idea. It leads to someone wanting their regions back and then war. I do not support this one bit.
Exchanging a region without proper public debate again...
Are you the Sun King? Only He can act like true monarch.
Without public support this might be seen as an act of heresy towards South Korea.
Like the last land swap?
heres a better idea. We keep Chugku, defend Jeolla-nam do, and invade taiwan's high-fish region. The people of jeolla-nam do are prideful people. They will not stand for this.
land swap seems not a good looking.. I think it is not a good idea.
I advise you to be careful Clopoyaur about this landswap, all sorts of region exchanges are ticking time bombs.
Common people, are you serious? Clopoyaur is right.Land swap for gaining new resources and help the economy is the only way small countries can cope with the lack of resources due to small teritorries.
Both countries get economic bonus.
If the land swap means better economy, I will agree.
But I am not very happy about Jeollanam-do dissapearing.
You know, I am a RL Korean, so just a feeling.
Every diplomatic deal is fine and good.
Till the government is overthrown, relations between the two countries are cooled down, CP is misinformed/overconfident and preparing army for TW, intervention of the third party, invasion of the turks, account is hacked, cable is leaked, implementation of the new economic module, 2012...
In end, I do and will support land exchange as eSK has too many grain resource, who cares me anyway.
