Changes regarding Party Membership

Dear Citizens,

Starting tomorrow, Day 4,684, we’ll be making a couple of changes to eRepublik, with the intent of addressing some mechanics regarding the party membership which haven’t been revised in a long time.

The following changes will be implemente😛

By joining a party, you will no longer become a full member just by joining, but for the first 2 days you will have the title of associate member of the party.

This will impact the way the ranking of the party is done, since associate members will not be counted towards the final rank of the party.

Associate members are also restricted when it comes to party elections: they can’t run for party president or vote in those elections.

For any other elections (congress and country president) no restriction is added besides the ranking of the party, which is a general rule.
