WAR UPDATE
Wild Owl, Secretary of State

Romania's NE of Turkey and Serbia's NE of Greece have both been very successful with both Greece and Turkey likely to get wiped. Bulgaria and the Republic of Macedonia (FYROM) have liberated their core regions, and the Greek airstrike into India ultimately proved fruitless as they lost their only region there. This is a blow for the European members of the Syndicate alliance. In South America, both Argentina and Brazil have been quick to ditch Portugal and sign a MPP with Chile, but that has not helped Chile much, as it faces a continuous onslaught and loses regions to Portugal and Iran.

Pacifica member Latvia proposed an airstrike on Cuba in the Middle East, which was defeated by Cuba with relative ease. The Russians NE'd Georgia, and while there was initially some confusion about the status of that war (some people alleged that it was a training war while others openly declared that it was not a TW), it looks like a real war for now, with Georgia losing regions quite rapidly. Most other Pacifica members are content to stay out of the fray for now and continue our training wars. The British have been pushed back again and are losing regions once again to Sweden, while Indonesia was able to liberate one region from the USA. Hungary continues its occupation of Spain after leaving Australia.

Adriatica's airstrikes on Serbia proved to be a failure. Cyprus was repulsed after leading 66-11 at one point, while Chile failed to land too. Thailand did succeed in landing and took the Serbian high Neo region for a day, but was ultimately ejected. Croatia continues to be wiped. This is arguably the weakest that Croatia has been in eRepublik in years, as their policy of alienating countries - like their attempt to alienate USA in the past - seems to have backfired spectacularly.

Most of the world continues its state of war, although the Syndicate-Adriatica countries are losing to Asteria and Bulgaria-Republic of Macedonia (FYROM) for now, with Pacifica largely staying out of the main action.

For the Future
Comet Academy, Secretary of Citizen Affairs

Sports teams always look for young, talented players. Why? Why should they look for fresh players even though they have plenty of star players? The reason is simple, it is because young players are the team’s future. The team can win some matches with current star players, but they cannot play forever. That is the reason why Department of Citizen Affairs is always waiting for new players.

Two weeks ago, we turned on BU2SU's huge switch again. The original version of the program still has some problems but the new sheet is working quite well. We spend 11 gold in the first week, and it was increased to 25 golds last week. 50 requests, more than 7 requests per day! That is even more than the previous version of BU2SU.

Still, we are helping young players with programs.
If you are level between 21 and 35 & don't have full TGs
BU2SU Form!
If you fight for eUSA and need some food, MoW Form!

If you are 30 level or under and need some additional golds for TG upgrade, wait for my posts in your MU! I am in VMA-214 this week for Stack the Wall, and I am going to visit EZC, USAF, Bear Cav for next three weeks.

In other DoCA news, Kody5. has released another article to help you with your air battles.

Country Profile: Portugal
Wild Owl, Secretary of State

Portugal, one of our neighbours along the Atlantic Ocean, has been a steadfast American ally for the past couple of years. The Portuguese, a member of the Asteria alliance, offer a steady source of damage for us in the European timezones, and have helped us repeatedly against arch-enemy Spain on multiple occasions. We have worked well together on numerous occasions and they are one of the best endowed smaller countries in terms of bonuses after the last resource wars. We are proud to have Portugal as a friend and want to grow our relationship with this country in the months to come.

Hail USA!
Hail Portugal!
