Ladies and Gentleman;

Let's start today by saying that it is indeed a nice feeling to log in this morning and see the UKRP back at the top. I believe, with where we are as a nation that's not the most important topic at the time, but it's just nice to see.

The most important topic, to me, is how we're moving forward as a nation. I believe over the last few days we're starting to see a bit of progress. We're getting some new players, and getting them involved. At a party level, you've seen a few things:

New Player Involvement

We're getting a fair amount of newer players (and some older ones) that are getting back and getting involved. Garth is always awesome to talk to, we're got a party chat and we've met some new voices, and we're starting to see articles from newer players (one of my more favorite things, as you can tell I love the media 😉 ). It's been a very nice week thus far.

Party PMs and Communications

I'd like to thank Cotton for her vast levels of energy (and perhaps her desire to spend time here communicating with rather than sleeping!) for helping greatly in this areas. We're getting some good feedback via PM, and the forums are a bit busier than they were (which obviously wasn't difficult since it was completely barren prior). For those of you who dislike forums, I get it, and I'm not going to force anyone to use them, but for those of us who like the forums they are there. I try to incorporate both forums, and I believe it's helping.

Election Update

We've currently got 2 candidates that will be in our party primary, and a possible third depending on what direction he wants to take this month. I should have that together by Tuesday afternoon. I'd ask (of those that have put themselves forward, as well as anyone else) that if there's any forms of manifestos that you send them over when done, prior to Tuesday). Otherwise, it will be sent out via PM primary Tuesday afternoon, with taking responses until Thursday. Once that is done, we'll update the in game candidate accordingly.

As for Congress, at current we're simply waiting for the deadline to reorganize candidates.

I believe that's it for today. If you're a party member or new party member in need of assistance, PM me and I will happily send you some tanks and food to help, as well as any guidance you might need. I'd also request that you follow MoD orders for fights, fight with the Campaign of the Day (when set), and if you're available to be mobile for Orion make it known and we will organize accordingly.
