[Orik4CP] Never Stop Grinding

Day 3,206, 18:57 Published in USA USA by Orikfricai

In my last article, I promised more substance.

In this article, I'm going to be providing a rough outline of the goals and expectations for myself and my departments.

My opponent has taken the declining game population as an opportunity to consolidate power unto himself by shrinking the Executive as a whole.

We must take a more pragmatic approach to the situation. This is not the way. The division of labor is important.

No, instead, we must continue grinding to find newer players to participate. His way would see the main avenue of ascension to the National-level removed. The Executive departments and all their Secretary and Deputy positions serve as a breeding ground for future Country Presidents. This should not be taken away.

My personal goal is to keep the American people informed day in and day out of the business of the Executive and a continual evaluation of the performance of its departments. I will do this through a mix of official WHPR media, departmental media, and more personal Media from me than in the past.

In February, I preferred to communicate directly with the various department heads directly instead of utilizing the PDB. I'll be using the PDB more effectively this term as a tool to gather the opinion and advice of a much larger pool of intelligence in order to make the best decisions possible and move the Country forward.

President Resoula made the move to combine the duties of the NSC and the DoD. I will not be undoing this action. I will, however, still maintain a multi-man DoD department to oversee the defense of the Nation and the transition of the USAF.

I will continue to involve the USAF Leadership in ongoing efforts to help the USAF decide on the course it wants to take.

My goal with the DoD/NSC in conjunction with the State Department is to leverage our position to find a way to have a protracted war that occupies our fighters. Not a training war. A real war.

I would also like to wrap up the USAF business this term so the Unit can move on to bigger and better things.

On the home front, it seems we've wandered. Our programs are stale and our educational mandate is lacking if not completely non-existent.

In efforts to continue to serve our new and long-term players, we must find a way to liven the place up a bit. We've got to find ways to make old programs new. We MUST provide educational material in order to assist the efforts of our Parties in building up new players to be the leaders of tomorrow. Whether that's revamping old material and making it new or writing completely new material, we MUST do better.

I've already kind of let on some of my Foreign Affairs plans earlier in conjunction with the Defense section. I'm going to be leveraging our unique position in the alliance and MPP webs with current events in order to find a way to have a REAL protracted war that will be winnable but will require effort and coordination to achieve.

Some serious State media has also been lacking lately. As a multiple Secretary of State over the last year, I share the blame in this. It's telling when most of your populace couldn't tell you every nation in your alliance or why our allies and enemies are that. Under my term, I'll be rectifying that situation such that our National as a whole will be better off as they become smarter about why we conduct business the way we do.

These have just been some high-level thoughts, plans, and goals that I'd like to achieve for myself, my cabinet, and my Country during my term.

Tomorrow, I'll be laying out the team I have chosen to make this a reality. Stay tuned!
