This may come as a surprise to everyone. In fact, I know it will, because before I published this article I told only 3 people that I was considering running. And even then, I told them a few minutes before I published this article.

I have made it my mission in eRepublik to champion fresh ideas, fresh faces, and above all else, bringing in more and more new players into power, into influence, and into the decision making processes. The more players we engage, the more feedback and opinions we have. It is through this flourishing of different approaches that we find a middle path; a solution.

For the avoidance of doubt. It is with this article I am somewhat pleased to announce I seek another month as your President. I have sat and watched various Governments, and found myself thinking, I could do this better. I wouldn't have done that, I would have done in this. Before the 'youre a dirty oldfag' comes up, (and I freely admit I'm one of the oldest and most experienced players the UK has: giving a Presidency to me is taking it away from a newer player), just remember, that ultimately cabinet needs someone who people can turn to.

A vastly experienced President can have a completely fresh cabinet full of those who wish to learn, engage and begin their political careers. No-one has brought through more new ministers than I have. No-one has given as many chances to those who would otherwise have been classed as 'inexperienced'. No-one has brought through as many multiple-term serving ministers as I have.

I may not be universally liked; I don't try to be. I am, however, consistent. I bring steady, fun, but competent and considerate Government. There are always new faces, always new plans, and always fun. But I am not going to promise you the world. The world is changing, winter may be coming. I have served in terms where our allies crashed and burned around us, and served terms where I helped destroy our enemies. I flourish in all conditions.

To conclude, here is some of my experience. I won't post it all, because it is all massively tl;dr.

I have served 6 terms as President
I have served 2 terms as Phoenix Supreme Commander (military leader)
I have served 1 term as Terra Supreme General (leader)
I have served 1 term as MoF
I have served 2 terms as MoFA
I have served 2 terms as MoD
I have served 4 terms as Vice President
I have served 1 term as MoHA
I have advised countless Governments, both UK and Foreign. I have advised pretty much every alliance the UK has ever been in.

In short, there isn't much I haven't done on eRepublik. I will outline basic plans for my candidacy tomorrow, and forward these to the Party Presidents of every party in the UK. Up until now, as far as I am aware, there are no confirmed candidates, so I would ask all parties to please consider me in their poll. My full plans will be outlined to you tomorrow.

Oh, and fun fact, I'm the only UK President to have invaded Spain. I'll begin publishing my plans should I be accepted as a candidate by parties, and I hope I can entice you all with lovely plans. Until next time, bare this in mind. Dragons can't eat ice cream.
